Beware on using this card in a deck with Commencement. Summoning Kresh from your deck with divine shield won’t allow the FRENZY it has to proc the “Gain 8 Armor”.
They call him the “lord of turtling” but didnt give him taunt? He will be too easy to ignore and will not save you from aggro. His deathrattle should have been dropping a shield instead because in WoW he drops “Kresh’s Back” The weapon is cool i guess but the flavor would have been better if he dropped his distinctive drop from the source game.
It’s good value, although I wish weapon was 3/3 or 4/2 instead. It’s for sure a nice addition to my value control warrior wild with both Nzoths. I also play Armagedillo there, good times.
Nitroboost poison would like to know your location
The “Beast” tag changes everyting at first glad didn’t see the tag but this print seems official so the card gains N’Zoth synergy. Of course Kresh only fits in a super-slow Menagerie Frenzy Control archetype; fringe play I think..
It’s a minion that gives you a bit of Everything, including Bonus N’Zoth Potential. What is there not to love about Kresh Lord?
I’d say that even the most strict of Warrior Players would see Kresh Lord as some sort of Universal Consideration regardless of what Style they are playing. Even Hyper Aggro Warriors would consider Kresh Lord.
5 stars well deserved. The only minor issue about Kresh Lord is that Delayed Weapon, but everything else is fine.
Its only downside might be that it is in everyway, incapable of saving you from dire situations. Sure the frenzy 8 armor is great, but when you’re really against an aggro deck, you can’t afford to play this. It has no immediate effect and can be completely ignored, which isn’t great for a 6 mana card. For that reason alone it can’t go higher than 4 in my opinion.
The 2/5 weapon is juicy for sure, but I would say what really makes this card for me is the Frenzy and beast tag. 8 armor Saurfang is really good.
