Slow, 0 star card in Standard. In Wild is a generic Control Priest card, 3 star card in wild.
I don’t really know why people are rating this low. Btw I only play wild so it may be better there but I see this card being great at removing big threats. You summon a 6/10 and “sap” a card into your own hand wasting their mana and gaining a good minion your self even if it’s just stats. Your opponent either can’t remove this or will use a lot of resources to do so then you play their big taunt or titan next turn. Even if they remove it quickly, you still sapped their card and wasted their mana. I think it’s a 4/5 and should be in any control deck basically
This would seem to be a tech card against decks that do a lot of buffing.
I rush and kill your buffed creature.
I can’t replay the card having just spent 8 mana.
You kill Kologarn.
But what is in your hand is now much less impressive.
A clear use for this card is against mech decks.
And there are a lot of mechs in this expansion.
