After trying to make this card work, I don’t feel like it’s that good. Realistically you will draw dreampetal florist, lich king, and something else. Most matches you’ll have one of those on hand, meaning in practice it’s a 2-card draw on average.
In an aggro matchup that’s also a turn 4 where you’re not ramping or doing anything on board, which is very bad. You don’t want to play it if you have dragonhatcher on hand. If you can’t find any space to play it early, it’s a dead card. The deckbuilding limitations are also pretty real, many cards competing for same spot and you don’t want to pollute your draw pool.
Don’t get me wrong it can be good, but it’s nowhere near as strong or versatile as it was hyped.
I don’t see what all the hype is about. This card won’t see play until UI rotates out. Druid already has better card draw, the card loses all/most of its value if you draw all/most of your big drops before this one, and no Druid would want to play a 7-, 8-, 9- and 10-drop, let alone multiple copies for consistency, except maybe Big Druid and even there, I don’t see it.
To me, this is 1/5, maybe 2/5. It’s useless for Druid right now.
Pretty sure the hype is mostly about wild. Cause it draws the entirety of the Azalina (7) Togwaggle (8) Aviana (9) Kun (10) combo. Don’t think its all that great in standard.
I wouldn’t count it out yet it standard. the new 1 mana ramp 2 card could really warp the format and druids can abuse playing 15 7+ drops…. could just be legendaries the deck
Unconsistent as hell
This card is actually terrible in wild aviana togwaggle deck. It is to slow vs aggro and against control it loses you the game because it tells your opponent when to dirty rat.
Dude i know You habe weiteren this before THE News Card Game Out bitte yeah, this one Draws malygos and THE News 7 Mana 4/4 .#Druidstone
Sorry i am German and THE words i am writing are changing to German words. What i wanted to say is: this Card Draws malygos and THE New 7 Mana 4/4 , so this Card ist busted 6 Out of 5
Oh for f*** sake. Can Druids go one expansion without getting a card that gives them 3+ free draws?
Draws Cenarius and Mulchmuncher in treant druid
Having played a tonne of Togwaggle Druid in Wild these past few months I almost coughed up a lung when I say this card. Genuinely thought I might be dreaming. Seems ridiculous for that deck. Happy days.
Finally druid got a carddraw-spell!
Its not as OP as it looks. You cannot play any of the cards you draw with this the turn you play it considering it costs 4. Its still good though.
Druid doesn’t need more card draw, but this will help with tutoring for OTK decks. Which are the worst part of Hearthstone, there’s literally thousand of other games people could be playing, Hearthstone is fun because of interacting with your opponent, I’m so tired of OTK decks and any support they get from Blizzard. The only reason I keep playing Hearthstone is because I can auto concede when I realize it’s a OTK deck and start another match. Or if a Priest plays Barnes on turn 4 I can say good game you win and start another one. Unfortunately the number of OTK and unfair decks keeps growing especially in Wild and will eventually be the reason I give up on the game. Boo.
you know how hard it is to balance ALL the wild cards?
I think blizzard is doing a good job, witchwood after the nerfs was one of the most balanced expansions ever.
It’s close to impossible to make Wild completely balanced…
As others have said, tutoring key combo cards can be huge. Since Druid already has a lot of card draw, having more than one copy of this card will be clunky. Otherwise, it’s useful to tutor that Maly or Alex that are in the bottom part of your deck. Think how Taunt Druid only needs one Master Oakheart to get Hadronox on board, and how you wouldn’t more than one copy of it. Anyway, 4.5/5 stars.
Isn’t that clearly a EZ big EZ druid card? All the ramp (including Biology Project) + 2 copys of that card? Seems rather strong to me, even in standard.
I’m gambling here a bit and say 5/5.
As good as this seems, but I don’t know if druid needs more draw. This seems quite restrictive, and often times you don’t need big minions.
(Excluding combo druids, where this draws you malygos. Or togglewaggle and azalina, I don’t judge)
Oh yeah, 4/5
Let’s turn it around a bit: I see this card playing well in some sort of ramp druid as the draw engine, so you don’t have to play as many cyclers and can focus more on board presence with your Fatties. Maybe this Card is good BECAUSE it replaces every other cycler?
(Not every other tho, just some of them)
Why would you care about drawing toggles or azalina over literally any other card in your deck when you wouldnt want to play either toggles or azalina before you reach fatique. The card is a marginally cheaper nourish that cant ramp in toggle druid.
The point is, if you draw them, they can’t be burned (minus dirty rat)
Right. Make that up as another huge weakness for the card. If warlock ever runs demonic project playing this basically secures your combo failing.
In a dirty rat likely matchup, you could keep it in hand, while against a rogue or another druid, you would rather draw them so these no risk of crazy mill shenanigans
You would only run 1 in a deck.
This is hilariously busted in Wild, but in standard not so much. Big Druid currently doesn’t run any 10 drops they want to play from hand (some lists run Deathwing, but you really want him to be pulled by Dragonhatcher). Since Dragonhatcher, Oakheart, and Ysera all cost 9, you aren’t guaranteed which one you’ll get, and one of those is obviously superior.
This would only draw 2 cards for Taubt Druid, and for that reason it’s debateable whether this is worse then Branching Paths.
Maly Druid runs an 8 drop, several 9s, and some lists run Tyrantus on 10. But with double UI, you usually don’t need more card draw. Idk.
I think this will be more powerful once UI rotates, but right now I’m not on the hype train (except in Wild lol)
I think the card should’ve cost six because that would’ve fit perfectly into the curve this card allows to be created and as it is, it’s a four mana draw four particular cards. I know Sprint sees no play and Norish has been used to ramp more often that to draw, but the fact this can complete any mid-game curve by turn four is a bit ridiculous. It’s even more ridiculous in Wild since this searches Aviana, Kun, Toggwaggle, AND Azalina.
It might not see too much play in Standard. Token doesn’t play enough high cost minions to make it worth it, Malygos Druid might because it does add Malygos, and Taunt Druid plays enough eight and nine cost minions to consistently draw two cards from it including Master Oakheart and The Lich King, but I don’t think they’d want to play it over Branching Paths since that card has a ton of versatility.
That is a juicy effect.
Ne, maybe in Standar but in wild druid have better option to combo
Noone cares about wild, just waiting for the day doomsayer joins his clown brothers reno jackson and kazakus highroll in wild
Pls Respect us 1% who do care about it.
Wow, that ignorance.
All these cards for DRUID…………..
BUT DRUID DOSENT HAVE ANYTHING AT 5 DROP MINION, NO 6, NO 7, NO 8, NO 9, NO 10. No pro has have won a damn thing with Cenarius at 9 lmao, never did a thing with Tyrantus so noone can say druid has a minon 5-10. You force us to play with Neutral minions only. If people arent playing doomsayer they play lich king nuetral. Where is the class individuality/uniqueness we were supposed to see. For quest druid I cant even get my quest done before I already lost……Giving this card a 0/5 because this card was made premature, other cards should have been 1st.
fuuk just after i made malfurion pesitilent into shudderwock this crap shit happens
I think it goes without saying that the Azalina/Togwaggle/Aviana/Kun Combo is pretty dang broken with this card. It maybe took me five seconds to realize that after seeing the card.
Now that being said, I’ve been looking at the big minions to see what else could come from a 4-mana hyper-draw mechanic. I reckon playing a sort of Big Druid with Dollmaster could be insane; run Dragonhatchers, Y’Shaarj (in wild), a bunch of big dragons (preferably with effects, like Ysera (as opposed to just big minions like D-wing in case you get it off of Dollmaster), and Silver Vanguard for the 7-slot. Now the best outcome would be Dollmaster > Juicy Psychmelon pulling Silver Vanguard, Ragnaros/Lich King, Dragonhatcher, and Y’Shaarj, which in turn pulls one of your big dragons (preferably Ysera or Deathwing) as well as one of your general minions (preferably a Ragnaros, Lich King, something of the sort). Throw in a Moonfire on your Silver Vanguard to pull the other 8-cost minion Rag/LK, and you’ve got 9-mana 3-cards (with moonfire being completely optional), fill your board with a bunch of HUGE threats that can’t be easily dealt with, not to mention your hand filling up for a potential Aviana > Kun > Play a ton of giant minions turn. I can possibly see this card making Big Druid a legitimately viable pick in Wild, if the Azalina/Togwaggle combo isn’t good enough (with drawing your entire combo from one card…).
I’m surprised nobody has really mentioned this, but this really is just a win more card for almost all the top Druid decks right now.
Maly – maybe I’m the only one, but more often than not I have hand size issues rather than needing to get my big threats in hand. With that deck you’re holding spells for after maly, so adding anything more that you can’t play till turn 7ish would cause even more problems
Big Druid – ditto the above comment about hand size issues. With oakheart / dragon hatchers I’m never really hurting for threats but I often find mindself with the 8/9/10s I did draw that are just very clunky to play
Taunt – this is the only spot that I could see this being useful for tutoring out hadronox but you’d probably want to cut one or both UI’s
This just feels overall like a win-more card for the decks that would play it. The more control-oriented decks are already really strong in the late game so as cool as this looks on paper, it doesn’t feel like it reallly contributes anything to their win conditions.
Draw Azalia , togwaggle aviana and Kun from your deck 🙂
Even if it looks OP I think it’s alright because this combo require to have your deck empty, so Nourish branching path and UI are still better
You don’t need an empty deck (at least for the wild version), u play nothing but draw armorgain and spreading plauge, also ramp.
I agree with you, You can play like a shit ton of cheep drawn (acolyte, loot hoarder, gnome, ferous howl , wrath) and ramp biology lab, inerve, nourish, and this new card, you have your combo 100% time, okay against aggro I guess, and you don’t need to empty your deck, it’s scary
You don’t need your deck to be empty. The point is that you have less cards than your opponent and then give them a deck with no win condition and steal theirs.
Sprint, 7 mana “Draw 4 random cards”.
Juicy Psychmelon 4 mana “Draw 4 specific late game cards (your combo keys cards)”
Yeah, im kinda quitting this game.
This is a great card for wild, 4 mana draw aviana and Kun.
So a direkt win for togwaggle druid. Guess I will keep playing that deck…
At first I thought broken but it might actually be a little greedy, also it’s drawing cards out that you would want to cheat out with oakheart, and there probably aren’t that many 7 drops you would want to run so really it’s a 4 mana draw 3. Druid has no issue with card draw with ui and nourish so I think this will really see more love when ui rotates out.
Ah but I was talking about wild togwaggle that is a top tier deck.
Where you only need the togwaggle combo and Aviana and Cun.
And they are a 7,8,9,10 mana combo.
So you can now draw them on turn 2 with mana boost. Burn your deck, use removals and mana boost until you hitt 10 mana then you win.
Before you had to draw all four which was the main weakness. Now it only has dirty rat and the new warloc cards as a weakness.
Yeah, it’s gonna see play for sure, pure stats are super strong and it drawing specific cards people are going to find ways to abuse it.
You know how ramp druid was OP but lacked card draw and consistency. Well now it doesn’t lack anything. This card can and probably will retire oakheart. he is mainly used to fish out your hadronox. This will do it more consistantly and at the cost of 4 mana.
On the other hand in will this will draw you twin emperors, doomcaller, aviana/cun, and yours trully c’thun. And cards like bellefull banker can make that a really spicy deck. Ofcourse rogue’s c’thun deck is much better wel lequipped for the situation but it lacks the sustain of a druid.
I am not shure if this card can retire any of the existing druid tier one decks to make room for something fresh but its a great card. Probably a bit overrated. Since oakheart is a power house. But if you have drawn your deck he is just a 9 mana 5/5. I am a bit exited about the c’thun part. Although ramp druid is returning this expansion. And with ramp druid coming back we might see some overprised deck with cenarius.
Druid lacks cards draw? That’s a new one.
DRUID IS OP AF RIP RANKED
Biology Project -> Juicy Psychmelon -> Nourish
4 mana, draw Malygos/Alex and Lich King. Nice.
not good at all 😀 u can draw 3 for 1 mana more and for sure (if u already draw lich king u draw 1). And at turn 4 u don’t wanna draw lichking instead of plague
Firstly this card is 1 mana more than arcane intel and you get two more cards, secondly this can draw primordial drake/lichking and hadranox. this also works for any combo deck that needs big minions also.
This card also is a great late game draw because it fills your hand and gives you 4 big minions to play one after the other.
1. u have to run a 7/8/9/10 mana minion.
2. u have to Play this Card before u draw them.
for example: if u run 1 copy of 7/8.. each u draw 6 big cost minion and with less there is no value. Maybe for Quest Druid.
well i see i miss some words at 2.:
if u run 1 copy at 7/8/9/10 u draw <2 Cards. if u wanna draw 3 u have to run more then 6 of the big minions. And except in quest druid u just dont wanna do this. if u for example run 7 of them draw them early u lose every game to aggro
wtf man, draw the big threats of your deck whenever you want is absolutely huge, witchwood piper runs in mage just to keep you alive in some matchups, this card is just non sense, 3 more expansions with druid in god tier.
This Card is bad. You have to run around 7 big minions to get the value. Just Play Nourish then u can get something against aggro too like plague.
You are very wrong. When the quest pops all you minions cost 0 so this card will not draw you anything. On the other hand i you do draw them before the quest they will never get the discount. So its basicly useless in quest druid.
Your right nevermind
Dollmaster combo…
WOw!! Nice idea. And maybe put lych king and ysera to have some cards at the final of my turn
if ysera was so powerfull she would have made it to the dragon taun druids. But people prefer to be able to draw hadronox from their Oakheart rather than getting ysera. Even though dragon caller can summon her people still didn;t like her
Tutor for wild Togwaggle and Malygos but i m not ssure if druid need this
Let’s not forget the card is costed in such a way that you cannot immediately play the cards you draw, so it’s a 4 mana card that doesn’t affect the board the turn it’s played. I’m not saying the card is bad, it can draw you the cards that are essential for your gameplan as in Togwaggle Druid in wild where it draws you the entire combo. I’m just saying it shouldn’t be overhyped.
Beyond broken!
4 mana Draw ur combo: Azalina, Toggwagle, Aviana, Kun
togwaggle recipe (specially in wild) is finally complete… completely a lot more broken
This is very Juicy indeed. But I can’t figur out how to use it best, as Druid doesn’t really struggle to Draw. And sometimes you prefer your big guys to stay in the deck for being able to recruit them with Dragonhatcher or Oaky.
This is insane. In Big Druid, this is 4 mana draw 2 at worst, draw 3 in the middle, and draw 4 at best. Draw your Hadronox/Oakheart/Dragonhatcher/Ysera/Sleepy Dragon (last two aren’t great to draw but still), plus your Lich King or Primordial Drakes, and sometimes draw Tyrantus. This is insane once you’ve ramped, if you’re in the process of ramping, or if you’re already dropping threats; so essentially 80% of the match. In Malygos Druid this draws Lich King and Malygos/Alex, and in Hadronox this draws mostly the same things as Big Druid except no 10 cost. Surprised this isn’t the legendary spell, what was Blizz thinking?
5/5, will see play in every single Big Druid list and likely in Malygos and Hadronox decks as well.
druid have too much draw and i don’t think that card really need for this class
Big Druid (which this is geared towards) doesn’t play UI, so one copy of this could easily fit in. Also in Hadronox lists, they run 0-1 copies of UI due to it providing too much draw, I think a 4 mana draw/tutor 2 cards wouldn’t be too overwhelming.
Big Druid wants to cheat out their minions, so this isn’t for that. Malygos can fit the 9, but what 7, 8, and 10 drops does anyone *want* to play? 4 mana draw 4 is all right but it’s restricted draw 4.
Big Druid runs enough threats that they can’t cheat out every minion, and there are some cards they simply can’t cheat out (Tyrantus). In fact, they don’t really have that many ways to cheat out minions. Oakheart is an exception as it 90% of the time pulls out at least one big thing, whether it being through oakheart himself or dragonhatcher. The other “cheating” cards are Dragonhatcher, which can be killed fairly easily through removal or if it doesn’t pull a taunt, and Bright-Eyed Scout, which can low-roll pretty badly and quite often hits spells.
Of course, this isn’t to say that Big Druid has trouble cheating them out, I’m simply stating that it doesn’t always work. This card is a backup plan for if things go wrong or even mediocre, and also acts as a win-more card so you can fuel your steady stream of threat after threat after threat. As an added bonus, it could act as the only way to tutor for Tyrantus and Lich King, even though Tyrantus isn’t necessarily a core card.
The thing is the deck commonly runs 5+ 9 drops so you can’t guarantee what it’s going to draw there. It can be as bad as a dragonhatcher or as good as Oakheart. The purpose of this is in a deck where all you need is a tutor draw for a combo- malygos, or azalina/togwaggle, for instance.
Stop. Giving. Druids. Broken. Draw. Cards.
Big decks really profit from this. Ramp Druid is can get guaranteed big cards quicker than the opponent as well, should be solid, even for a control Warlock. 4/5
I’m sorry it’s late!
ULTRA COMBO!!!!
