Pretty cool and doesn’t have to make up its own mind. 5 Stars minus 0. (5 Stars.)
Dormant is probably the worst keyword I have ever seen in the history of hearthstone. But this PoS takes the cake.
What’s wrong with the first “I”
After 2 dormant turns it could at least have Charge.
The card’s not great, but I think we might be selling it short. This card (and other dormant minions) gives us a way to play a minion in the face of a doomsayer/imprisoned antaen/imprisioned observer.
Alright high points it’s a really nice option from evolving a 1 Mana minion. It can attack the same turn it awakens and has decent enough stats.
Downside the earliest it will be able to attack is turn 3 if coin turn 4 without.
With all the dormant cards I’m expecting we may see maybe a legendary or epic card that can awaken minions. Or maybe one that (moves the turn clock forward one). Overall I’m curious about how these dormant cards will pan out.
correct me if I’m wrong but “dormant” isn’t triggered on battlecry, so if something evolves into this, it will still be dormant…
Read it again it’s dormant for 2 turns there is no battlecry. If your trying to compare to darkness that card said battlecry and said it was conditional that you pull 3 candles before it wakes. Just like magtheridan.
This card unlike those doesn’t have battlecry in tag so it’s more like the other dormant card that required you to play multiple cards in a single turn to wake it.
Sherazin Corpse Flower deathrattle: Go dormant. Play 4 cards in a turn to revive this minion.
So this card will wake after 2 turns because that’s the condition of it’s dormancy.
Reading the card again doesn’t explain if it is dormant if a minion evolves into it. I have already found the answer elsewhere. The imprisoned minions are only triggered by playing them.
Found a site stating how dormant works minions that cannot wake on their own like the darkness are removed from evolve pool. However if the minion can wake on its own it starts as a dormant and must wait 2 turns to wake up.
So can’t evolve to bypass and likely can’t cheat it out to ignore dormant.
Gonna be pretty good when you evolve this from a 1-drop.
I’m pretty sure that they will print some kind of cards that ‘awakens’ the dormant minions a turn earlier or so.
only good t1 with coin, useless later. wont see play
Little bit of a disappointmemt but might have the same effect as Devoted Maniac, everyone thinks it’s really bad but turns out to be really good but I don’t think it will.
Devoted Maniac didn’t turn out to be good at all. You only play that card in order to invoke, if there were better invoke options those card would have been used instead. Very weak card and it will not see play no matter what.
I really don’t get your logic with it, it saw a lot of play so that means it was good enough, of course if another invoke came out maniac would probably be pushed out of decks and not see as much play.
I really don’t get your logic you just proved my point. Thanks:)
