Halazzi is a really cute refill card. I think that in vacuum the card is quite strong, as it gives you A LOT of pings, and pings are pretty good in Hunter, since the class has difficult access to them. But, there is one problem – it has insanely weak initial stats. You pay 5 mana for a 2-drop, which already pushes it out of the more tempo-oriented Hunter archetypes like Secret or maybe even Midrange. It doesn’t have any synergies with Deathrattle Hunter. It can’t be played in Spell Hunter, because it’s not a spell. So what deck would want to play it?
Well, there’s actually one. Quest Hunter. This expansion will be one last push for the Quest decks, including Quest Hunter (The Marsh Queen). The deck never really worked. The Quest was difficult to finish, and if it got finished, it wasn’t impactful enough. This card is interesting, because if you draw it, you’re basically guaranteed to finish it on T6. On top of that, it has synergies with some of the other Quest Hunter cards. For example, it’s pretty insane with Toxmonger, which turns the 1/1’s with Rush into 1 mana removals.
As for the other decks? Honestly, it’s hard to say. This card has a pretty cool effect, but it’s really hard to fit anywhere. The problem is that it’s a strictly value card, as the tempo you’re gaining is very, very low. Since you need to pay 1 mana for each of the Lynxes, it’s not like you can drop it and then catch up with the tempo next turn. No, your next turn is still very likely going to be slow. But having a bunch of 1/1’s vs not having them can make big difference if you’re playing the value war, or you’re in a topdeck mode.
I honestly don’t think that it will will make Quest Hunter viable (although I’m sure that players will try it), and it’s hard to find another deck that it might fit into. Because of that, I believe that the card is not too strong, but it has a cool effect nonetheless.

you look at Zilliax then Halazzi, and you go what happened what is the up side? same stats and cost as Zilliax who you can play in many classes. Halazzi has no Magnetic Divine Shield, Taunt, Lifesteal, or Rush all for a beast tag and adding some 1/1 to you hand and if you do play Halazzi on 5 you will burn your next draw
Wow this is one of the worst Hunter legendaries I’ve seen, and Hunter is filled with bad legendaries. This is a MASSIVE tempo loss in a class that plays aggressively and/or for tempo traditionally. It’s best combos are Starving Buzzard (too bad of a card after nerfs), Toxmonger and Quest Hunter. Toxmonger and Quest Hunter are fun to play, but they’re sooooo much slower than aggressive Hunter decks and sooooo much less efficient than Midrange/Deathrattel/Recruit Hunter decks. So this is going to be trash. If at least the 1 mana 1/1s had Charge, it could set up sort of a Combo Hunter (which would be cool, I don’t think we have seen a true Combo Hunter deck ever). But them having Rush is utter crap.
Did you take a look at the hunters spirit all those 1 cost would become 2/2 rushes so basically this could be related to hunting mastiffs except cheaper and able to play more than 5 in a turn.
If I’m playing the Spirit (which is also a bad card) I’d rather play Unleash the Hounds because I can at least go FACE (something imprinted in Hunter’s DNA). So what if you get a bunch of 1 mana 2/2 Rushes? You have lost massive tempo with a 5 mana 3/2, and you’re not getting it back with this. Not to mention that there’s tons and tons of AOE removal for 2 damage, and that you need the Spirit in your hand as well, which won’t always be the case.

Ugh stupid text. As tried to say it’s at least a card worth considering in odd hunter issue I’ve had in that build is tending to run out of cards trying to keep opponent down and smash face.
Having a single card that can fill your hand with alot of pings that may be able to help knock out a taunt is useful.
The thing is: 1 mana 1/1 Rushes are also not great, they are strictly worse than Elven Archers, and Elven Archers are almost always not good enough to include in a deck. The main problem, again, is massive tempo loss. If you play Odd Hunter, you’d rather drop a Sabertooth Tiger than this guy, and that’s a common from the Classic set instead of a legendary! I mean, haven’t you drawn Baku in Odd Hunter and totally dreaded having that deck card? Including the Lynx in Odd Hunter is going to increase your chances of getting more dead cards in hand. The only deck you would consider including this Lynx is Quest Hunter, since it gives you the required triggers for it, and the Toxmonger makes some of the pings actually good enough. Stonekeep seems to agree with me here: gives 3 out of 10 stars and says it’s only viable in Quest Hunter.
LOL this card is useless. Reasons:
-play it on turn 5 is a slow turn
-play it on turn 5 let you discard next card
-quest hunter at turn 5 ends his quest the same
VERY overrated card.
only good thing: golden lynx could be very beautiful.
I opened a gold one… And this will be the only reason I play it I think haha! Definitely not complaining!
1,2 your right 3rd your not. Because now u can play quest without this crappy 1 drops. Now u can play better cards and this is a card with good synergies and viable in control

I first read this as fill your board with lynx and was like “Woah that’s crazy powerful.”
Then I reread it.
Turns out it’s pretty bad unless someone comes up with some combo. And no, I don’t mean quest hunter. That’s leaving soon anyway.

I think he mean’s Toxmonger the Hunter Card that grants poisonous to any 1-drops you play
So when people say “quest hunter” they aren’t referring to the quest hunter we know now. This card becomes the quest trigger, freeing up an entire deck for whatever else have you. Not my cup of tea but I’m sure it will be worth experimenting.

…What is this supposed to do? Any normal deck won’t play it because it’s terrible tempo in stats and if you play it on curve you mill a card. In terms of quest hunter chances are you will be close to completing the quest meaning its far better to play 1 drops on turn 5 then waiting till turn 6. Only redeeming thing I can see is that Deathstalker Rexxar can use it.
Happy to see hunter get other cool cards but this legendary is udder garbage. (At least it’s not Boomsday where the only decent hunter card was spider bomb)
Ummm, if you play this in quest hunter you arent close to finishing the quest. You are at 6-7 1 drops away because this is a one card finish the quest and you wont be playing 1 drops because you no longer have to. Think of it as what ring the bells is to quest paladin. Free progress
It fills the 1/1 to your hand not the board, so it’s totally useless to quest hunter
Summoning on the board would be useless anyway because you need to playthe minions in quest hunter.
To end up Quest you need to have
HALAZZI on turn 5,
spam guys on 6,
Hemmet on 7,
lizard Queen on 8
and only on turn 9, at last u gonna fill your board with 4/3…
And this is the best case scenario, wow, such amaze)))

Weak in my opinion.Yes,it is very powerful if you have the spirit but how often will that happen?Not worth to put into Beast Hunter but powerful in Quest Hunter,if you can manage to draw it.

Arena fanatic has practically the same effect as spirit and you run trackings and stiched trackers. The play is super strong
Yes but most comments in here thinks more about Ranked.It is really powerful arena but your odds getting a legendary and this legendary being it doesn’t look too promising.And I think Blizzard might make Loas to not to appear in Arena because they need heavy synergies.
Quest Hunter love. Deathstalker Rexxar love. Beast Hunter love.
Very solid legendary that will see quite a bit of play in Hunter class outside of Deathrattle Hunter.
