There’s a chance that this card can break Paladin’s class identity, albiet for only one game. And it involves a lot of RNG.
If you play thia, there’s a chance that you get Psychic Conjurer. From here, it’s possible to get your opponent’s Galakrond, or Shadowjeweler Hanar.

Sure it may not look like at first, but trust me; this is a good card; Escpially for Whenever Paladin dosen’t have any 1-Cost Minions to play with, or Whenever Paladin Decides to Swarm the Board with Small Minions.
I don’t think it makes Recruits, but being able to “draw” around 2 1 mana 1/2s on average is nice enough for paladin to use at least one of these cards. Speaking of which, this is also going to be nice for both Pure and Highlander Paladin, whenever they come out as well. 5 Stars.
This is horrible in a normal deck, but Paladin’s Limitations really promote this: Pure Paladin lacks 1 Drops and needs them for Libram and Hand of A’dal, Highlander Paladin can run Blazing Battlemage as probably stronger and more reliable card, but this can be played alongside it, Goody Two-Shields can use this for Spellburst…
I think in a normal deck with no limitations this stands no chance, but Pure and Highlander will run this.

I mean, a random 1 drop is mostly better then just a 1/2, right? AND, you get to keep both of the cards if you think it is necessary.
Yes it’s exactly that, a better Firefly. And many people considered FF the best card of its expansion. And we didn’t even touch the spellburst sinergies.
Will be used in pure pally decks for value and early game.
this notably synergizes well with the divine shield card with another divine shield, but other than that, paladin was really lacking in 1 drops besides aldor attendant and this helps a lot.
LOL… Isn’t it funny that back in the day we used to call 1/3 minions OP?
Now we have a neutral 1/4 minion (albeit with a downside of dealing damage to your hero, but most tempo-based decks wouldn’t care) and it isn’t even that strong.
Every expansion the power levels of cards creep up. Wonder how powerful Hearthstone’s meta will be in five years from now.

Yep seems good for aggro (pure paladin was in dire need of 1 drops).
Support for Token Paladin. 0 Mana spells will be important activators for Spellburst, as well. This card actually seems pretty good to me!
