Eternium Rover Card Review
If Dire Mole is a solid card, even in the decks that don’t have any kind of synergy with Beast tribe, I don’t see why wouldn’t this one be good. It’s a 1 mana 1/3, with two upsides – Mech tag and some Armor gain potential. It seems to fit into two kinds of deck lists. First of all, aggressive Warrior builds – it’s like a better Dire Mole there. Even if you can’t take advantage of the Mech tag, the extra Armor might come handy in the Aggro mirrors. And the second kind of build is Control Mech Warrior (which looks like the main Warrior’s theme for this expansion), where it’s a nice, anti-Aggro 1-drop with a Mech upside. It’s a solid, cheap body to slam Magnetize onto, and giving it more health potentially means more Armor gain. It’s so good that it might even fit into a non-Mech Control Warrior builds. Armorsmith was dropped mostly because 1 attack is not that good on a 2-drop, but it’s very acceptable on a 1-drop – you can trade with Dire Mole, Righteous Protector, Fire Fly etc. basically gaining some early game board control AND usually around 4 Armor on top of that.
Even though it’s not really a build-around card and doesn’t push the Warrior’s power that much (the class already has lots of anti-Aggro tools), it’s powerful for a 1-drop, it fits into different decks, you wouldn’t mind dropping it on T1, but your Aggro opponents will hate to see that. It’s just very good. Even better if we get some 2-drop Mech with Magnetize.
Card rating: 9/10
Smells like Baku Warrior
Don’t be fooled. This is not the premium one-drop for Warrior. That card is Town Crier from last expansion. At least in a vaccuum. Premium 1-mana 1/3 minions always have snowball effects (Mana Wyrm, Tunnel Trogg) or other powerful abilities (Northshire cleric, Malchezzaar’s Imp). Card draw is also great in 1-drops (Kobold Librarian, Town Crier). This just gives you more life, which is close to irrelevant in a Tempo deck. Now, it is a mech, so it CAN be Magnetized. And 1/3 stats for 1 mana is a good target to magnetize. So it IS at least 3/5 stars, especially in Arena. But it is definitely not a premium 1/3 for 1 mana.
Then put it in a control deck instead wehre it belongs?
Town Crier is better in any Control deck than this buddy, if of course you have Rush minions (and if you’re Control Warrior, you should, you have some very good Rush minions from Witchwood at your disposal). This guy is only good in the beginning of the game, after that it’s a terrible top deck. This guy will probably only be used as a Megnetize target in a Mech Tempo deck. I don’t see it good enough for Control.
Bro the most viable control warrior list right now is taunt. Taunt warrior would definitely run this card since this is amazing against aggro. Drywhisker is currently run in most lists which has a similar role. This minion however, is less conditional and more proactive, especially in matches like Paladin. You are act like your simple-minded opinion, which was very poorly thought out because it is easy to see the value in this card, is the most right. I’m not saying this card will be amazing. Personally I think it has great potential. You should try to widen you scope of thought.
I disagree. I have played a lot of Taunt Warrior and the list is pretty tight, there’s a fine balance between Taunt minions, removal and card draw. If you take too many cards of one area the deck loses its consistency. I’m already running a Blackwald Pixie and an Ooze as techs and they seem clunky many times. Drywhisker Armorer is run to counter flood decks and also because it has outstanding synergy with Cornered Sentry. You would definitely not want to run this guy in Taunt Warrior just for some extra Armor. Firstly, you usually play Quest on 1. Secondly, this doesn’t have Taunt, so it doesn’t progress your Quest. And 4-6 extra Armor is not worth a card.
There is a 1 mana card that just gives you 5 armor and it was played. People play a 1 mana 1/3 card with no text on it. How can you think this card isn’t great for control warrior?
Hahaha, Warrior getting some love this expansion 😀 <3
Hooray broken 1 drops.
At least this one is defensive oriented
4.5/5
I think this is good for arena, where it wont see synergy but will average 2-4 armor and knock out some silver hands. In constructed, it could make mech warrior a thing, as long as there is a strong nuetral 2-3 magnet. If the meta is right it might even just be in all control warrior to counter one and two drops. 4/5 because it needs more nuetral magnets to be really broken in control.
This card looks very good by itself, especially if you take in mind magnetic buffs. But i think it doesnt fit in any warrior deck. Too slow for aggro, and in control you already have better armor gains; and is useless for arena.
i regret the last sentence, actually is above average in arena.
1. Dire mole is played in aggro a lot, all it needs is the prime stats and beast tag, mech tag with magnetic could be even better
2. You have better gains on turn 1? And it saves you health by sticking around and trading into 2/1s or silver hands, its perfect for control
3.You beat me to it
Why does warrior keep getting good 1 drop minions and rogue doesn’t
I’m so mad
Warrior is moving in a control direction, and so getting one drops wont make it broken. Rogue is still tempo/aggro, so powerful one drops would be meta breaking. Like imagine in odd rogue… And they wouldnt print a strong control one drop for rogue, if they made a good one it would be tempo/aggro.
A nice 1 mana 1/3, which is always a good turn 1 play. Magnetic allows this to get more armor than normal while being a good minion. Fits into an odd mech warrior if it’s going to exist
Seems like a strong turn 1 play in mech Warrior

What one mana 1/3 is Warrior playing now that this pushes out of relevance?
A good first turn option for a Mech Warrior. While it can’t gain the exorbitant amounts of armor Armorsmith can, this is a sticky minion for dropping Magnetic buffs onto.
This and Upgradeable Framebot are the sort of good early game minions a deck built around Magnetic will need to be successful. Hopefully too, there is at least one magnetic minion to be revealed that will cost less that three mana.
Rover with be an unquestioned addition to a Mech Warrior should the deck be competitive.
It is looking like the deck has a good shot at being competitive, based on the way things are going 🙂
