Does that pack have a chance of giving you cards not from your class? Also does the pack spell count towards the Mage Quest?

Yes, cards can be from any class. Yes, the pack would count towards the Mage Quest.

This seems very powerful then. One of the greatest limitations I had when considering using Prince Malchezar was the fact that the 5 legendaries are likely to screw up my deck’s curve. Though Elise Trailblazer has her own problems such as having slightly less stats and having less likelihood of actually benefiting from those 5 cards she does address that problem making her far more attractive to play in most decks. She seems pretty good for the mage quest and combo/miracle rogue.

No one gonna realize the small chance of the pack giving you another Elise? Possibility of going infinite like cabalist time does

Well I think it’s a very good replacement for the LoE version of the card, I mean you don’t have to wait for a long a time before you draw a specific card then draw another specific card before you can place a specific taunt minion that replaces your hand and deck into legendaires (which means usually no more than 10 legendaries in you deck)
This one is also a very good way to refill your hand in some control or hand decks, and I know that an empty hand is a big problem for many of us

I think this is definitely going to be runned in very-late game control decks with fewer win conditions, or even in fatigue-based decks. Control warrior immediately pops in the mind, but I can also see it in priest (especially with the new spell), handlock (though it will have to be careful not to overfill his hands), heal paladin (either with n’zoth or some burst as a win condition (like dinosize, leeroy+buff etc)), or even control hunter (I know it won’t become a thing, but still 😀 )

the pack Elise gives you is much better than normal packs – you’re going to be getting Epics and Legends quite regularly.

If nothing else – this should be a ton of fun to play with. Control decks could def find a place for it.

Actually, this is pretty good in Control Warrior and even Handlock. 2 mana for 5 cards is pretty insane, and it could be a solid replacement for Elise Starseeker in Control Warrior. And don’t forget, it’s also a 5 mana 5/5, which is pretty sweet as well.

What’s the probability of card rarity on this “pack”? I don’t wanna cast 40 of these just to get 1 legendary 😛

They said minimum 1 epic and high chance for another epics and legendaries. Commons are new legendaries 🙂

It’s not adding a pack for your collection, it’s adding a 2 mana spell that, when played, shuffles 5 Un’Gora cards into your deck.

the pack shuffles into your deck. when you get the pack in your hand. you play the pack and the 5 cards go into your hand. so it can refill your hand… which makes it viable in control… and… maybe even as a pseudo Divine Favor in aggro decks??????

It doesn’t shuffle them into your deck, it adds them to your hand.

thing is .. would it give you access to non class cards like opening a regular pack would .. that could give you access to some pretty crazy combos. The demo only showed neutrals in the ungoro pack being opened I believe

dont remeber the class they used but, it showed king dred and sharazin. Plus they said that this is a typical pack, where you are gaurenteed one epic but getting a legendary (or multiply) is common.

Actually the demo featured a warrior getting the rogue and hunter legendary

Blizzard is now trying to make you buy packs

This isn’t very RNG based, it not about getting the most useful cards, it about getting the most value from the cards

I feel like 5 random cards from the new set isn’t that good, especially compared to the old Elise and a full deck of legendaries.

What do thay mean do I get a pack if I get to cast the sealed thingy

    • Spirit
      March 17, 2017 at 12:44 PM

the sealed thingy is a 2 mana spell with the art of an Un’Goro pack, it gives you 5 random cards of this set in your hand 🙂

Cards opened by the pack generated by Elise are not permanent. Acts much like a Cabalist Tome, but for 5 cards.

Exactly. I think it sounds interesting. You get five cards from the set that could be from any class, so it messes with people counting cards to determine if you’ve used both of your [name your favorite card here] or if you’ve used more than one of any given Un’Goro card for the highlander decks. I don’t see this card as being any more powerful than Cabalist Tome.

I saw the pack oppening, its like a real pack, just like the ones that you open

Yeah, it’s just skewed towards better cards.
