opened a golden from the pack I got from a quest.
now will wait for another 5 years to get another golden leg, sigh.
Will be nerfed to cost 5 I think
We knew there’d be an anti-dragon tech card. This is outright devastating if your opponent controls a dragon. Will there be enough dragons for this to justify inclusion in competitive deck slots? We’ll see! One good news is the new minion- Draconic Lackey- ups the amount of decks where a dragon will show up eventually.
Hey. Someone had to be a Dragonslayer. And Dragonmaw Poacher was one of them. 4 Stars however just because not everyone is going to be playing Dragons, and everything is going to vary. If there was a tool card to cheat out a way to give an Opponent a 1/1 whelp or something, then yeah. But this is more or less likely an Answer against any strong dragon that isn’t a Legendary. And I’m not looking at Brightwing.
Ummmmm Leroy Jenkins? Did you forget him? This is basically a 9 Mana play opponent gets 2 1/1 you go face and summon an 8/8 rush who can knock off one of the 1/1s.
Quality control card of the expansion.
Yes its design is geared toward control, but I actually think this would slot well in an aggro deck to punish value/control dragon decks in the early game.
Oh I meant “Quality Control” as in making sure the quality of the game is nominal by creating a counter to dragons, which are looking quite overpowered.
Jeez. This degrades all cheap dragons by a lot, right!? I mean… Bronze Explorer on turn 3 when your opponent can react with THIS? But tells us a lot about the power level of Dragons in this expansion. 😉
I want to see the Trolden video of a turn 9 Ysera being answered by Quest Shaman’s turn 10 double 12/12 Dragonmaw Poachers. 5/5
So if you have a dragon deck you are going to at least need a few removals to or silence, but seems like a nice card. If only the giants where dragons to then it would be a good counter to them to xD
So if you run a dragon deck just pray your opponent doesn’t run or didn’t draw this lol. Seriously now this hard counters midrange dragon decks if it is active on curve. Notice that it gains rush so silencing it will still leave a 4/4 body, which will already have removed something. If you run removal for this your opponent will have won 2 for 1 AND huge tempo. So i don’t think there is a lot you can do against this. The only small dragon that does fine against this is….. the new hunters explorer! So this may let aggro dragon hunter shine! LOL
Checkmate dragons!!!
And the MVP card award goes to.
Seriously there’s not much in way of a single deck that won’t have at least 1 dragon to play.
Great in Rogue – Play this with Leeroy Jenkins – get 8/8 Rush EZ.
Nice catch!
Wow this is an amazing combo! And probably a viable one since i can see these cards in a ,midrange deck
XD Battlecry shaman doesn’t need more dragons anymore… this is either a 4 cost 8/8, or a 6 cost 12/12. Yay.
totally 5/5.
Almost everyone will be running dragons in this expansion… When the set releases you might as well put two of these in your decks right away lol
Ok, that’s a good one.
