Sleeper card for sure. Curve out with your efficient one-of cards and top it off with brann. This deck has so much potential, but has the chance of flopping just as hard. I’ll take the risk. 4/5
Oof, another hunter archetype… like i already hate hunter enough, and they come witha new one, is like “build your deck with siingles in order to have 2 krush’s” with actually seems fair with the support hunter got for value, and don’t you dare to argue the “Hunter must be face” thing, freaking secret and midrange/deathrattle hunter has been a thing since a while now.
I think highlander hunter might be viable cuz i can think so many good hunter cards by them selfs(according spells).along with zuljin this midrange hunter archetype might be the ONE.
I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this card, personally I think it’s good. You get a lot of stats for the low low price of 7 mana. Immediate damage is no joke, and with just a bit more support, this card could see play in a killer deck. 4/5.
Mixed reviews comes from the restriction. Considering the main thing brought up is bombs in decks blocking Reno powers. Then there is inability to run dire frenzy for some. Without more support this just seems to be a card for a form of face Hunter. The fact that you can’t run duplicates of removals is probably the biggest issue.
looks very good tempo card
cab be bounced by brewmaster if not hanled
or combo on turn 9
i think this goooood!
Yeah uhhh I don’t see this working outside of wild atm no duplicates is rather painful dire frenzy is a big deal for current beast decks mechs are not going to go with only 1 of the poisonous/death rattle kill magnetized. You would have to build up a face hunter.
That said it may turn out alright depending on support atm the quests don’t support the Reno legends so I’m not sure how good or not this may get.
Are people trolling? 4 stars with 81 votes? Or is everyone a Wild player? TBH I think this card is to weak for wild, maybe a T4 deck in wild.
King Crush is not worth 9 mana, it’s worth 7 mana. So to build your deck into a single card deck only to get a 2-4 minion extra. Unless the neutral legend that supports this deck type is super powerfull, this card wont see play in booth wild & standard. Unless Blizzard buffs this card.
TBH if this card wants to see play it needs to be 5 mana. Or 7 mana with a have a beast on board requirment.
I think some of the votes are people reading battlecry summon Krush and not thinking about the no duplicates part. Reno decks we’re only rather food for specific classes. Seeing from current examples that quest vaguely supports maybe the druid but not nearly enough I’m doubt full hunters one would be better.
The current decks can’t use this because usually at least 3-4 cards are utilities necessary for the deck. Face Hunter will likely be the only deck to see real use of this.
Mind you that you can play King Krush, and then Dinomater Brann, for huge amounts of Pressure. So even if you’re not using this card for OTKs, you can still use this to scare off your opponents. This does mean that you need to try and work around how you want to function which I’m sure that the HS pros can easily make a recommended deck for us because they had successful theorycrafts.
Yeah, I can easily see this as a 4-Star Card on Average.
I’m sure there’s an OTK in there somewhere. Allows you to coin shuffle 3 11/11’s with charge into your deck. In wild can be summoned by kathrena.
I don’t think this works in any standard hunter deck… it might see play if it gets the right support?
The effect is really strong, the question is whether it fits in any standard decks.
If this card gets Dino support. . . I’m going to go nuts. It’s too bad Dragon Hunter didn’t work out.
Top Tier. Will see play, especially if more No Dup support is printed. 4/5.
great include for wild reno hunter as for standard hunter well…….i recommend to just run king krush instead of this
So much tempo on 7, and you can use 3 mana after you played it, and god knows what Hunter can do out of 3 mana. Now we have yet to find a deck for it.
If bombs shuffled into your deck count as duplicates (I assume they will); then this Reno, Elise and Finley become redundant vs Bomb warrior.
The secret shell already uses a lot of 1 ofs because of Subject 9. Deadly Shot can be a 1 of, Marked Shot could be a 1 of. Unleash the Hounds too. This card can work there.
Not worth it.
It just isn’t.
In wild it sure is worth it.
7 mana 10/14 stats, 8 of then being charge, with beast resummon synergies, + 3 more mana to bounce this card back to your hand and reuse? There is plenty that could be done with it.
Look, hunter isn’t going to run no duplicates for a 2 mana discount on king Krush
It’s good, but it has to prove itself to be better than Master’s Call, Secret Synergies, and Mechs. Hunter has a lot of good, flexible, unused cards now, though (I’m thinking Baited Arrow and the like), so maybe something will come together.
For this kind of payoff, I could see a Highlander deck being viable. I imagine there might be more support for Highlander decks coming, but with the information we have now I’ll give this 3/5
No, no no no no no no.
Please not Reno effects while bomb warrior is in standard. And what do we get for our troubbles? Leeroy for midrange decks. 🙁
If Bombs turn off the Highlander effects (and why shouldn’t they) then, sadly, in Standard all is lost from the start for those decks, even if the payoff is as good as Brann’s.
You know what happens if your opponent executes his game plan by killing yours …
I’ve had a bit of time to think about this.
The sucess of this card in standard depends on the strength of aggro and midrange decks. If something can keep shuffle decks teir 2, then yes, sometimes Reno will be turned off.
Psychic scream did not mean the end of even shaman, and the occasional bomb warrior won’t stop Brann either.
might not work well in a mid-range hunter deck….if you draw it before turn 7 and it interrupts masters call… although you could wait and take a chance to draw 3 or discover this at turn 6.
King Krush on a stick. Imagine comboing both Branns in Wild for 16 charge damage to the face! But, then… why do I need a stick? Still, King Krush on 7, as a single target removal or a finisher. Similar design to Janalai. It will be so awful to get Brann from evolve effects.
Alex on 9 -> Brann + Brann on 10
10/12 worth of stats on turn 7 and 8/8 of it has charge?!?!?!
bruh
