    Aaaaand it turned out to be one of the coolest and best cards in Warrior right now. I like the infinite Arcane Giants version, but i hear the fatigue/bring it on version is good as well.

    K guys here is how i defeat jade druid as Control/Quest warrior.

    Run burgle bully and auctionmaster barto plus 2 brawls.

    A dead mans hand is lovely. Shit vs aggro as u all said, but extremly nice vs everything else. Warrior dont mind 1 or 2 dead cards in ur hand when u can answer Everything with the remaining cards of ur hand. Would be nice to introduce another card Mechanic arround it tough. Really like the card design and looking forward to Play it in quest warrior.

    Yep in quest warrior. I know that “die insect” is kinda infinite value , but at some decks who can manage to ALWAYS play 3-4 minions per round it loses its winning capability of ” yo it went Face 3 times”.

    Don’t think this is too nuts. The bigger issue isn’t the mana investment, which shouldn’t really be an issue for control warrior, it’s the fact that it’s a dead card vs an impact card.

    Warrior does have plenty of ways to draw, but acolyte/battle rage/etc combined with this is still a fair amount of mana. Even with its huge lifegain warrior still has to prevent the board spiraling (esp vs death rattle minions which summon), and this card is not like Jade Idol which an Auctioneer can cycle almost for free.

    You also may only want to cycle some specific cards rather than 6+ to avoid drawing into weaker stuff later on. I think the idea is to fill your deck with more of your big stuff, and ideally draw it consistently in future. This won’t make it so easy to play.

    I m still not sure if i really understand this card. I mean if you hold 10 cards, does this shuffle 9 cards back into your deck? Or does it squeesh them together into a pack, that when opening give you 9 cards? Or is just 1 out of those 9 cards going to be shuffeled into your deck? (in that case it’s kind of bad tbh unless fatigue is a real issue)
    If you really do get like 9 cards, it’s kind of OP in terms of value, even the hunter hero card cant compete to that in endless value lol…

    how it work? will you draw a card call “copy of your hand” with a lot of cards, like elisa pack? because that is what the text mean….

    says shuffle A copy of your hand, and not copys of each card in your hand

      its actually good either way because its a way of increasing your deck-size on a control class – mean one is a lot better than the other, but being able to draw 9 additional cards (which presumably you’ve filtered to your highest value, late-game cards – like Ragnaros or Hellscream) is still very good. Also makes attrition more viable.

    Obviously a card you would put in a Control or Fatigue deck and not in anything else.

    Vs. Aggro: Useless. Drawing it could lose you the game. 0/10

    Vs. Midrange: Useless unless you’re running a TON of card draw and get very lucky. I dunno, I’m sure we’ll see a Trolden clip of someone shuffling something crazy into their deck and immediately drawing it off an Acolyte. 1/10

    Vs. Control: Incredible. Will win you games by itself. Now you don’t need to sacrifice anti-aggro tools to improve your odds in control-vs-control matchups… just run 1 of these for when games go to fatigue. Even restocking 3-4 mediocre cards is a huge advantage in a game that goes to fatigue. That’s 3-4 cards they need to find answers for… they would need to get 3-4 two-for-one plays to make up for that. 10/10

    Overall: 7/10. Run one in your deck, maybe two if you’re facing a ton of control. Once in a while it will lose you a game against aggro, but it will make up for it by crushing control decks.

      Yes, there is potential for infinite combos if you draw two of them. That might improve your odds against Jade Druid, but I don’t think it will happen as often as you might think. Against other decks it’s completely unnecessary–even one deck-restock will probably seal the game in fatigue.

      Hold up. Are we sure it gives you i.e five cards. Because when i see this card i think of elise trailblazer giving you a pack and would expect it to work like that. Sinces it sais shuffle (a) copy of your hand into your deck.

        There are other “shuffle ____ into your deck” effects in Hearthstone, and when they put multiple things in your deck they’re separate cards. Elise is the exception and specifically says “shuffle a sealed Un’goro pack into your deck.” There is no wording like that here, so I see no reason to expect that Dead Man’s Hand would shuffle a “pack” of your hand into your deck.

    This is maybe my FAVORITE card of the set. The potential is nuts.

    C’Thun number 2 or 3 if your running Doomcaller (BTW C’Thun is super good right now not for the guy himself but the armor gain makes Mages weep, dunno why no one runs it. Y’all forget about C’Dre)

    Bring back Arcane Giant warrior maybe…

    The real potential I think is in a late game grind war. This is a deck refill that you have some decent control over. Even if your not hitting the absolute nuts. Hitting some armor gain, and some Stonehills or other generation cards is absolutely going to be good enough, or one final board clear. Brawl number 3 and 4 to absolutely crush their tiny little dreams.

      There are tons of cards in this game that have lots of potential but end up sucking.

      This card is ONLY good in a Control Mirror. If you’re not up against another standard Control Deck, this card is 2 mana do nothing. And right now, Jade Druid will still outvalue Control Warrior by miles when it hits the late game grind war. Unless Jade Druid gets out of the meta, this card cannot possibly be good.

        Yeah you are totally right. It would suck against anything but Control. But control warriors are not a thing right now not because they can’t compete against aggro, but because they can’t compete against control. They can’t get the kind of value that a Priest with Lyra, a Mage with its 10 bajillion ways to generate more spells, or a Jade Druid can. So they have almost no chance of beating them. So really warrior wasn’t looking for an aggro answer, it was looking for an answer to control; which I’m willing to bet, this card will serve that purpose just fine.

      Honestly that sounds amazing. As long as the deck can hold up against aggro good enough it would actually be a deck that could Mill win Jade druid just by dealing mine damage. If it’s not a good wild deck, at least it would be fun.

    There is one reason that this card is good. Control warrior needs more card generation/value and that is exactly what this card is. If control warrior is any good in the meta, this will be an auto-include.

        You would definitely pick one or the other. If you have the quest, you don’t need this at all because your hero power is infinite value.

        If you want to play Control Warrior without the quest (I dunno, maybe Control Warrior gets a boost in Knights and Taunt Warrior won’t be as good), you could consider running 1-2 of this if a lot of your games come close to fatigue.

        I say “close to fatigue” because you don’t need to run out of cards for deck-restocking to have an effect on the game. When you have < 10 cards left in your deck, adding 4-5 powerful cards can greatly improve the strength of your draws.

        Well for one cw is much more versatile then quest as u can fill ur deck without having to worry about adding taunts, also I feel a lot depends on warriors death knight, which btw I wonder how those work with skins

      I suppose I should clarify that Gang Up DID see play in a Fatigue Rogue, but I cannot fathom that working for Warrior, especially with how the meta looks, the tools Rogue has that Warrior doesn’t, and how Gang Up worked versus this card.

        Gang up hardly saw any play because rog had no decks that could support the card

        It was a control card, but rogs didn’t have the cards to support a control deck back when it was released,
        big reason was it had no healing cards to keep it alive in long matches

        Control warrior has the cards to support a control deck that can effectively deal with aggro and stay alive with armor in long matches

        Control warrior does however fall short against other control decks that tend to pack more value like priest, Paladin and Shaman (In Ugoro)

        This card help fix that problem and give them a good fighting chance in control vs control match-ups

          But this card doesn’t actually give Control Warrior more value. It just makes their deck bigger. Unless the game ends up going to fatigue, that larger deck size isn’t going to matter at all. And you wasted a card and two mana for that “just in case” which probably means you lost enough tempo that you’re going to lose anyways. This isn’t a meta that sees games going into fatigue much like back in TGT meta.

            No warrior can easily take games into fatigue, the problem was it had no good card generation. Plus if your up against agro your plays will be based in the early games anyways and not playing this so obviously as with the quest too there are match ups where you font play it or Mulligan it away. Warrior still handles agro pretty well and now it can toe to toe with jade idol and control. This will add fatigue warrior back to the meta stronger than ever

      Control-vs-control matchups are often won on value alone–the person with cards left in their hand when you hit fatigue wins. If you can deal with all 30 of your opponent’s cards and he can only deal with 29 of yours, you win.

      This card takes it from an even 30-on-30 matchup to 32-on-30, maybe even 33 or 34. It almost doesn’t matter what the extra cards are, it will be extremely hard for your opponent to out-value you at that kind of a disadvantage. If you manage to get an extra Ysera, Brawl, Grommash, etc., that could win you the game by itself.

      If you have such a strong card against other control decks, that means you don’t have to build as many “greedy” cards into your deck. Instead of needing 6 big finishers (Grommash, Ysera, Rags, etc.) to out-value other control decks, maybe with this card you only need 2-3, and you can use the 1-3 “freed-up” slots to make your deck better against aggro or midrange.

      It definitely has potential.

      Gang Up isn’t a good comparison because Rogue doesn’t have the same kind of value focus that Warrior does. Even control-oriented Rogue decks win on tempo or combo, not value.

        But this card will ONLY EVER matter in Control vs. Control matchups that go to fatigue against literally any other deck, it does nothing. It would only matter in a meta similar to TGTs where Control Warrior and Control Priest ran rampant. Even in a normal Control vs. Control matchup, it’s common that the game’s over before 30 cards are hit. One deck will seize initiative, get their value minions out on the board, and just stay in control. Having an extra 5 cards in your deck isn’t going to change that. In fact, it’ll make it even easier for them to run you over, since you wasted two mana and a card earlier in the game banking on the fact that this would go to fatigue.

        This card is a bit similar to Prince Malchezaar. PM didn’t see play because the cards he put in the deck were frequently bad, but I had a theory that Control Warrior would run it anyways because it only really cared about being able to run longer than the opposition. And keep in mind that when PM came out, Control Warrior was still a thing. But Control Warrior DIDN’T use it because it turns out, it didn’t matter that much. And that was considering that Malchezaar did it for free. This card puts better stuff in your deck, sure, but it slows you down and damages your hand to do it. At ABSOLUTE BEST, this is a tech card. But compare it to tech cards like MTC, Gluttonous Ooze, and Eater of Secrets. Those cards still do something even when they’re not facing a deck that they’re in the deck to deal with. They’re far from great, but at their worst, they’re still bodies. This card isn’t. Against an aggro deck, you pray this isn’t in your opening hand or else you probably just auto lose.

          I think you’re exaggerating the downsides of this card and focusing on extreme scenarios. The most useful way to play this card would be to run one copy–you’re unlikely to draw it in short games and very likely to draw it in long games, which is exactly what you want. One card slot is a pretty fair price to pay to shore up your fatigue matchups, IMO. Obviously you would have to do some napkin math to figure out if it’s worth it–how often do I lose because my deck isn’t heavy enough, vs. how many aggro/midrange games would I lose because I drew this?

          Yeah, if you draw it against aggro, it’s awful. It’s a dead card. But so are all of the standard control finishers like Ysera, N’zoth, etc. Clearly those are still worth the risk because overall they improve your chances of winning.

          In fact, if you run 1x Dead Man’s Hand, you might be able to run fewer finishers and gear more of your deck toward aggro/midrange.

            *I’m* focusing on extreme scenarios? You want to shore up Warrior against matchups that don’t exist in the Meta! Even the Control decks that exist right now don’t want to go to fatigue! Mage combos you down before then. If its death combo doesn’t work then it loses, regardless of if its in fatigue or note. Paladin wants to have muscled you out with value before Fatigue ever happens. I think it’ll win warrior SOME matches against Paladin, and that’s it.

            Someone above (that I can’t reply to) said that it helps warrior against Jade, and that’s completely laughable. If Jade gets into the “Fatigue” game, its already won (at least the most popular variant, Jade Druid), regardless of how many cards you still have left in your deck because it’s throwing down several 10/10+ cards every turn.

            And again I must stress that even in Control matches you hate playing it, because you’re basically spending mana to discard a card on the turn you play it. I guess it’s similar to a quest in that regard, just with a much slower and much worse late game payout. And in topdeck wars its arguably the worst card in the entire game to draw.

            I dunno if I’ve had a weird streak of luck, or it’s peculiar to the stretch of the ladder I’m on right now, or the meta is getting weird right before Knights, or what… but I’ve been playing against a lot of slow control decks lately. Control Priest, Control Paladin, Control Shaman. More of my games than usual have been going to fatigue.

            You’re saying this card is complete garbage and would never be useful. I think that’s an extreme thing to say. I’m saying there are specific, real matchups where this card would be powerful, and it’s a matter of weighing the frequency of matchups. Whether you run zero, one, or two of this will depend entirely on what the Knights meta is.

          It’s like some people believe that aggro and mid-range decks are the only decks that exist in hearthstone

          The thing is control warrior is already a pretty good check to aggro decks

          Control warrior is one of the last decks you wanna face playing aggro because they have a ton or removal and life gain

          Why is Yesera played in control decks? Because they already have the tools to deal with aggro and they need some late game value to help check other control decks

          Thia card is pretty much that, this could double your yersa, gorhowl, brawl, armor spells, removal or whatever else you choose when you play it

          Just because it’s not good on every matchup (like yesera) doesn’t make it a bad card

            Of course I know control exists. Control Paladin and Control Mage are my two favorite decks right now. I’m also realistic and know this card doesn’t help Control Warrior.

            It’s not that this card is bad in other matchups, it’s that it’s UNPLAYABLE in other matchups. In aggro or midrange matchups it’s 2 mana discard a card. At least Eater of Secrets and Gluttonous Ooze have bodies you can use in irrelevant matchups. This doesn’t. Even in control matchups it can win you the super late game, yes, but it’s probably too slow even in those matchups. By weakening your hand so early on and saturating you deck, potentially making it more difficult to draw specific answers that weren’t in your hand when you played Dead Man’s Hand, the other control deck might just outvalue you too quickly and end the game long before it gets to Fatigue.

            Compare it to the quests. Now, not many quests ever saw play. Only Warrior, Rogue, and a little bit of Mage saw real play of their quests (and nowadays it’s only really Warrior, and even then it seems like it’s on its way out). But quests are cards where you set aside a card in your hand early on. But the trade-off there is that later you get a free draw, and that free draw is an insane card. Dead Man’s Hand is more expensive, doesn’t get you that free draw later, and just gives you normal cards. Considering that Quests saw so little play as is, this is NOT going to be the card to make Control Warrior great again. I know, because I played a lot of Control Warrior. I experimented with giving Fatigue Warrior Prince Malchezaar. I tried a lot of variations to get the deck to work again, and this awful card is going to help nothing.

            Yes you’re right, this is not gonna be the card to make control warrior great again

            You’re also right about it being an unplayable (dead card) in aggro/mid-range match-ups

            It’s not like archbishop (new priest legendary) tho, you’re not really saturating your deck with extra copies of cards you want to run in your deck

            You’re right about the quests too, it’s a 2 manna discard, do nothing card when you play it.

            but the difference between it and the quests, are you pretty much have to keep the quests early game and play them turn one, this you can get rid of it on a mulligan and don’t have to waste that extra card slot and manna until later when you can afford it

            And 2 manna isn’t a big cost (later), most hero powers are a waste of 2 manna, people just use to use up some extra manna (especially in control warrior with armor up)

            But to be fair if there is any deck that can afford to use this, it’s control warrior

            Prince Malchezaar gave you RANDOM garbage most of the time and ONLY minions (most unplayable)

            This you get to time it, and choose what you’re getting, + it adds more value to your deck when you need it

            Only draw back is you have to be able to afford to run 1 or 2 potentially dead cards against aggressive match-ups

            Cards pretty much 2 manna strengthen your deck

    It dose nothing vs aggro cuz it dose nothing! Nothing happens and by the time you draw a card from this the game is probebly won or kost!

    This is a Good vs control but in a control meta jade druid Will be nummer one so…

    Maybe there is some insane combo that i Missed with this card but i think it won’t see play befor jade is gone from standard!

    If you play one while one is in your hand then this could create some interesting synergy. Maybe not a win condition, but interesting. Kinda like the mechanic Jade Druid abuses, but a great deal less effective.

    This card is viable in so many archetypes. Fatigue/Control Warrior. N’Zoth Control Warrior. C’Thun Warrior. Arcane Giant Warrior. Maybe even Quest Warrior.

    Oh, and this is a great card for all you Medivh Finja Tempo Warrior players out there.

            warrior already has some of the best anti aggro tools in the game, they lack the tools to fight late game now vs control mage (the new burst 10 armor solves that) jade druid (this card solves that with infinite brawls) and now they need a late game finnisher…how about cthun, so you can defend your self and stablize already with cthun warrior against aggro, you will have infinite brawls to help vs mid range, and infinite cthuns and dirty rats vs control….pretty fucking good

            mm and batupaksoy, I think you’re underestimating how often a control vs. control matchup comes down to who has the heavier deck. I play almost exclusively control decks, and I would guess that 40-50% of my control matchups end with < 5 cards left in my deck, at which point one of us runs out of steam and either dies to an unanswered minion or dies to fatigue. Being able to reach that point and then restock your deck with 3-5 spells and threats… wow. That could win you the game by itself.

            Add 1 to my control deck to greatly increase my odds in fatigue matchups? That's a great deal. I might even run 2 if I'm facing a ton of control.

          This card changes everything for warrior: it can put the second copy of itself back into your deck plus a few other cards. So you can put infinite copies of nzoth into your deck and also emperors in wild.

          It’s far from pure shit. It might not actually make a difference in the control meta because of Jade Idol but if Jade Idol did not exist this would be the best control card in the game since you can essentially play infinitely if you have 2 copies of this card in your deck.

      That mana argument is just dumb. The downside of spendind 2 mana to do “nothing” only matters in the early stages of the game, when u can fall behind on tempo and not be able to comeback. Spending 2 mana to do “nothing”, for ANY control archetype, is totally viable. You just cannot use all your mana cristals every turn as a control deck, and mana is something that u will have in abundance on the late game.
      The effect is Batshit crazy, it shuffles your fucking hand in your deck. Malchezaar shuffles 5 random legendaries that generally are mediocre, and still the factor of having more cards is powerfull, even it making your deck awfully inconsistent. This card shuffles up to 9 cards, but i think u will generally hit about 4-7 cards. Lets assume that it shuffles a win condition (Ysera, Grommash, N’zoth, Wild Rag), some removal and card draw. Thats already insane value. It can shuffle ITSELF, like…. fuck, how can u not see the bullshit emanating of that effect?!?! U can run HEAVY CARD DRAW in a control warrior, like 2 acolytes + shield blocks and stuff, and not die from fatigue or run out of steam against other control decks, because guess what, u just shuffled your hole HAND in your deck. Thats a hell of a big apologie from Blizzard for making warrior an aggro class the last expansions.
