Very good card in wild. Will see play a lot. The mana cheat is so impressive. You can summon multiple high cost minions for 6 to 2 mana with bloodbloom.
Maybe Hi Reek will become viable now with the new imp cards and spirit of the bat.
Charge Warlock!
So we go with this. Turn one try to have RAFAAM’S SCHEME in hand.
Turn 6 use BLOODBLOOM play RAFAAM’S SCHEME or another spell that summons many imps. Then play this (DARKEST HOUR) on the same turn.
Suddenly you can have a mix of Charged Devilsaur, Leeroy, Doomguard and others in your enemies face… To do either fatal damage or just severe damage.
Big Warlock that summons lots of imps with spells in the early game then does this
I rest my case
Not sure where the low ratings are coming from, but this totally works in handlock. 4/5
Not really sure what kind of deck wants this. There’s a synergy with this and Rafaam’s Scheme… on turn 9, assuming you have both in your hand, and that you’ve been holding Rafaam’s Scheme for several turns already. Otherwise, I don’t see Control Warlock being able to recruit a bunch of minions out of this, and if you’re Zoo, you’ll just replace a bunch of small minions with a different bunch of small minions.
This could be great with Arch-Villain Rafaam- fill your board with small minions, then play Rafaam, then play Darkest Hour to replace your weak minions with Legendary minions… except for the fact that Rafaam also replaces Darkest Hour with a legendary minion, so you can’t actually do that. Maybe there’s a use for this that I haven’t seen yet, but I think this is just bad. 2/5
There’s the jumbo imp if flood field with imps kill with this and if jumbo is in hand he just got like 7 Mana cheaper. Without losing board presence.
True enough, but I don’t think it’s worth it to cast a 6-mana spell to reduce the cost of a minion in your hand by up to 7 mana.
That’s more a fortunate side effect since summons out minions from the deck.
For 9 mana you can swamp your deck with big minions and draw them with this and rafaam scheme. Seems legit. Considering they are not restricted to being unique effects in your deck. The fact that you can draw like crazy. It can work. You do get a 7/8 taunt boddy fro mcards like rafaam if you pull them that way. But chetting out a leeroy or doomguard is not bad. With doomguards being a wild only card. i think the lock OTK decks get more and more disgusting with each expansion. While most of them are just for the wild community though.
This card scares me through in we have shuffle lock available and a card to give you a 10 card deck as late game play. This could be big as a recruit warlock.
Just give Warlock good big minions and this will be OP
This screams for combos with scheme and fiendish… Not sure if there are enough strong minions yet , but a card to keep in mind for future expansions
The Spirit of Possessed Lackey is still in play, but you won’t be Recuruiting. You have to play Handlock or maybe Midrangelock for the Potential.
Why the hate on this card?? It has absurd potential to be meta-defining. Run only big & taunt minions + imp scheme/fiendish circle & other defensives.
Could be the strongest turn 6 so far.
