I thought the Card is „okay“

After playtesting it yesterday for about 15 Matches i can say this card is definitely garbage.

The outcome was bad 90% of the time.

Best outcomes: 2/9 taunt but in a control matchup so it was useless but still the best option and a 1/4 Bloodmage Thalnos when i needed carddraw.

Would rate this card 1/5 for now.

This card isn’t that bad yeah it’s 3 cost summon a 2 cost but the +3 health can give some 2 costs value equivalent to 4 or 5 cost cards. Mostly ones with deathrattles but injury cards can bypass the battlecry that hurts them.

In wich world this cards gives you a 5 Mana Value ? The only outcome would be Milhouse, otherwise it’s most of the time a 2/5 vanilla minion.

i played this card 5 hours yesterday and it was even worse than i thought

The list of cards that could reach the 5 cost value is small mostly best you could hope is 4. The ones that can reach it though are outlier cards that would be considered a negative if not for certain details. I’d say 5 cost is about 8-10 in stats on average without factoring in an ability. Which puts anything that can reach those numbers within the 4-5 cost range. This is not factoring in any abilities so by those rules a 2 cost with 5 stats reaches the minimum for 5 cost. There are a lot is 2 costs that reach those requirements which means it comes down to abilities. Your highlight cards can include amani berserker at 2/6 and with 1 dmg a 5/5. Faerie dragon a 3/5. Injured tolvir 2/9 taunt. Milhouse the 4/7. Those are pretty much the best options and are outnumbered by weaker ones but it is possible for them to reach into low 5 cost value it’s just your more likely to only get to 4. The next question though is if you run a few big priest type cards topsy turvy or inner fire. If that’s the case a few other 2 costs get rather scary including a few making 8 attack minions.

I don’t know why this card makes me wish for a spell-only priest archetype… I feel like that is territory that hasn’t been explored in that class as of yet. The card itself is ok.

Not very exciting so eh it’s ok.

Since they removed the class-favoritism of Discover, all 2-drops are weighted equally (although you still cannot discover from another class unless the card specifies you can). So let’s see.

Currently there are 7 2-mana Priest minions, three of which are Battlecries. So that leaves four priest minions that (might) be worth hitting: Dead Ringer (only good if you have deathrattles in your deck and if you do and they need to be tutored you are already running Dead Ringer), EVIL Conscript (Lackey’s aren’t good enough in Priest to justify running Conscript so I doubt you would favor picking it out of two-drops), Grandmummy (decent card but it favors aggro/token decks which this card is too slow for. Also you actually want it to die and this doesn’t promote that), Lightwell (I mean, I guess?).

So basically there aren’t any good Priest minions for this right now.

There are over 60 neutral two-drops. Of those, only these three standout to me as maybe worthwhile hits: Doomsayer (3-mana 10 health isn’t terrible, but I’d rather just run Doomsayer), Injured Tol’Vir, and Wild Pyromancer (but you have to be running a lot of cheap spells and this card doesn’t match with it, also you’d just be running Pyromancer anyway).

Maybe I’m missing something, but terrible card seems, well, terrible.

I think its pretty good. You get to choose a 2 cost minion for your situation with 3+ health for 3 mana. It can be used in combo priest with inner fire.

      Not bad, not broken

it is now a long HS tradition in which everyone asks only one question right after Blizz presents a new Priest Card:

    Why ?

The tradition needs to continue for Priest to receive horrible cards…

Injured tol’vir 2/9 for 3 mana its a good deal

      I reckon there’s about a 1/30 chance of that happening…

1/30? Count the number of 2 drops my friend

Well you’re not actually far off at all, since it’s discover, there’s a 1/26.7 chance, so even better
