it’s probably just me, but I don’t see a healing spell that needs you to sacrifice a minion being good.

-it doesn’t change the board state in your favour, actually, you’re only off worse after using it
-it could work with eggs, but then again, you’d need both cards for it to work.
-it don’t draw you another card does it now? you draw this instead of a removal spell or strong minion

I agree that this card doesn’t directly affect the board state. Neither directly draws a card. This card isn’t too viable on aggro either but shines on a control. Let me explain.

Control type warlocks have struggled long without proper healing tools after Antique Healbot and Reno was taken into wild. The reason for those cards being extremely strong on warlock is that warlock requires health to be able to use their hero power and some of the control tools. With addition of this card you can sacrifice your low mana cost minions which doesn’t give you that much in the mid to late game for a very low mana cost. For an example with Mistress of Mixtures you have a whopping 12 heal for 2 mana. Or simply a voidwalker for 2 mana 8 heal. In both situations you have plenty of mana left for control tools to deal with current board state and you also have more health to draw cards with life tap for card advantage without losing the game to direct damage.

For your point considering the eggs, sacrificing something like the eggs for early game swings sound amazing too but indeed requires both cards but it is the same case with Dire Wolf Alpha and other egg “activators” as well. Additional cards to pop the eggs won’t hurt in that deck archetype. This card could even bring the Possessed Lackey card somewhat viable if it manages to pull out a voidlord/doomguard/jaraxxus for 6 mana 8 heal but that one is quite niche.

My rating for this card is 5/5 and this card will definitely see action in control decks and even in some more niche decks too.

well, I certainly hope it will see play but I still doubt if the heal is really worth the price

With this card you can guarantee the Deathrattle of Rin, the First Disciple. Well I’m certainly gonna try this combo 😀

very interesting, certainly not a control warrior card, does a card like this fit in zoo when you want to be going face.

You can just run an egg or two and it fits nicely with handlock and molten giant

True again though would you want to run somthing else that’s more efficient, i’ll admit healing is super important for warlock, but this card may just take up space.
