its not good vs Aggro decks (face hunter, shadow priest)
but very strong vs the combo decks, poison rogue especially.
This is the first time a card has been printed specifically for more Mill Damage.
I unironically think this is probably the stupidest yet powerful card we have yet for Hearthstone, especially with Quest Warlock. Mind you that this is shuffled at 3, as well, so you have 6 or even possibly more of the Agonies if you have more copies of them.
6 Stars for Quest Warlock.
Why especially with Quest warlock? The cards are shuffled in the oppoinent’s deck, the fatigue damage isn’t added to your fatique damage. Or do you mean when you play Quest Warlock and you’re opponent is Warlock and plays this card? It is especially good against decks with a lot of card draw.
Okay, so Imagine if Agony just suddenly deals 3 damage for you, and that’s at 1 mana. Now Imagine that same card dealing 4 or 5 damage to you. And this is just for 1 mana. I didn’t read the text wrong or anything, and I know it goes to the opponent’s deck and not on your deck, and it’s still that powerful so long as you complete your quest Warlock deck.
Being able to shuffle 3 fatigue Damages are no joke. Yes, it does take a while, but after it does 3 damage and beyond, that’s when the fatigue damage become scary. Warlock can use Altar of Fire or TIckatus, and then play Agony to enforce your fatigue, by the way.
Warlock has so many tools to manipulate the opponent with whatever tomfoolery it wants to pull off. It has Dread Imps and Quest. It has Draw Potential. It has TIckatus and Altar of Fire. So Also adding in Agony to make your fatigue ramp up even further is just another layer for Warlock to quest possibly be in the tier 1 deck. Ivrus is also a thing, and that’s a neutral, too.
Now, I say Quest Warlock because that’s probably the warlock that wants to be using Agony the most because they benefit from Fatigue Damage, which also belongs to yours as well. So now you have to worry with double the fatigues; both his and now yours that he just created.
bruh
If this doesn’t ramp the fatigue then it is fine. As it would be 1+1+1+1 (starting from the fatigue they are on currently). Now if it ramps fatigue then congrats for 1 mana deal 10 damage with the second copy outright killing them.
This almost certainly does ramp. For those who don’t play WoW, Agony is a warlock damage over time spell that deals more & more damage the longer it lasts.
Regardless of it’s power level, IMO this is one of the coolest warlock cards they’ve made in a long time. Perfectly represents Hearthstone’s take on a damage over time mechanic and Agony in particular
No. This card should not exist.
Why?
this is getting nerfed day 2
no wait…
tamsin+ this= 78 dmg.
with 1 mana fire spell
It is shadow, however throw in 2 augmented elekks and it goes to 666 damage. Coincidence? I THINK NOT.
2 mana deal 21 and enemy regrets life drawing cards? ill take that
