Very strong card. Will see play. OP as fuck to control the board. You most likely end up with a 4/1 and a 4/2 after having killing 2 stuffs

This is a really strong card–but druid doesn’t have nearly enough healing tools to make its prerequisite achievable. 2/5 for now given that heal druid won’t exist this rotation–but definitely something to keep an eye on if druid gets more healing printed in future expansions.

Bliz is trying to push this heal Druid thing and I don’t see it working. You can’t run armor cards in a heal Druid deck, which eliminates some of druids best cards. 2/5

Crystal Power alone is not enough to make this viable. Even if you make an extra copy of it with that new legendary.
Because there WILL be cases where CP will be used for damage, not heal. In fact, I assume it should be more often than not.
Healing Touch is not a good card and that’s the only class heal druid has right now. And the playable neutral heal minions mostly rotate out.
So we’ll see if they release some more actual good heal.

Its just a 5 mana giant split into 2 minions. Healing is anti tempo plat and this is quite midrangy. Quite mediocre for druid since druid does not have that much great midrange potential since you straightout ramp to 10 mana. Crystal power is not the only heal card druid can use though. Although ferocious houls is still in the game so i think druid have fairly good armor pool so far for this to be good. It can synergize with the new legendary but i don;t think crystal druid is ready to climb the ladder for now. Lets enjoy the treats while we can 😀

If it wasn’t for Crystal Power, Crystal Stag would never see play in Druid, but with that card, it should be fairly easy to enable this card. Granted, five mana deal eight damage to a minion is probably on rate with what one would expect, and whatever 4/x bodies you get to keep on the board are likely worth the cost of having to play a card like Crystal Power.

Granted, also running Crystalizer for reasons beyond it being a 1/3 for one probably isn’t exactly important.

Remember that this card says “Summon a Copy of it”, so if you double the health with Predatory Instincts you will get 2 4/8 with rush…. just found that out. Crystal Power wont be enough support i think, iam with you. Healing Touch is maybe worth it? Dont know.

I don’t think a four mana, draw one card is going to ever be playable.

Additionally, Healing Touch will not be worth playing just to enable this.

But its not only draw a card, its also a “removal” and maybe a body left on the board.

Yes, but when all the aspects of the card are considered, it’s probably even on value.

Two 4/4s with Rush for 5 mana is insane. You only have to restore 5 health, which is easy to do considering your hero power/opponent’s minions will be costing life. Seeing as Crystal Power already looks like you’ll want it in your deck, the preconditions for this card aren’t going to be hard to achieve.

    5/5 from me for sure.

Not really. Five mana to deal eight damage to a minion(s) is roughly on rate for what someone would expect if not a bit lower. At most, you’re really only saving on one mana as a 4/4 vanilla is probably only worth three mana.

Between the requirement of basically having to use the less good effect on Crystal Power and the mana cost, it’s value is roughly what should be expected all things considered.

I mean using healing on Crystal Power on your minions can be really nice, and you can always restore health via other cards like Zilliax. Being able to combo Crystal Power with the new legendary also lends even more flexibility.

I don’t really see a point on the mana curve where dropping this is bad, assuming you have the conditions met. 5 mana to deal 4 to two minions or 8 to one minion is really strong considering you’re either leaving bodies on your board or you’re clearing the board to recover some tempo. At its worst, it’s a 5 mana 4/4 with rush, which isn’t great, but it’s at least something to impact the board state.

Happy Ghoul this ain’t. The crystalizer + crystal power + Crystal Stag combo is cool, but drawing those 3 specific cards by turn 5 is spectacularly unlikely. This can be a great tempo card on turn 10 or so, but that’s decidedly different from playing one or two free 3/3s on turn 3.

Cool card, should see play in midrange druid. 4/5

Interesting to see they are bringing restoration druid to life. There is some potential with old classic cards ancient of lore and healing touch, as well as with new druid spell crystal power. However I am a bit sceptical. If they couldn’t make heal paladin work in so many attempts, it feels like making restoration druid work might be even harder.

Crystalizer + crystal power and you can drop this on curve that makes this a rather horrifying card and gives power to mid range druid.

Would you rather have this, or have Stampeding Roar + Oondasta? I think it’ll be outclassed.

This for sure. No overkill conditions, and you don’t need multiple cards in hand to activate the combo. I’d throw Crystal Power in every deck and I’m auto-including this in any deck with Crystal Power as well. This is a massive tempo swing.

I’m actually curious now as to what’s better: Zoo Healadin with thier 4 Mana 8/8 Taunt, or Zooheal Druid with thier 5 Mana “4/8 Rush Windfury”? And I can see how people would still favour the “4/8 Rush Windfury”. I think the 8/8 Taunt for Paladin is still going to be expimented on but otherwise I think It might be for slower or more Control-style decks.

Druid has very little self damage available to them so this hopeless as of now

Don’t forget the Crystallizer card, that deals 5 damage and gives 5 armor. Nice synergy there.

about 2 years ago druid had a lot of heal. i’m glad they’re bringing it back. in WOW druid was the only class that could be healer, tank and dps. I know I’m probably in the minority here but little flavor things like this is what i like most about hearthstone

damage per second is what it stands for, damage dealer is what it means; one of the three dungeon/raiding roles in fantasy RPGs
