Yeah, Spell Treant Druid is back from this. 4 Stars.
This seems like it would work in an aggro deck, but lets think about this. In an aggro deck that focusses on buffing tokens as much as possible, would you rather have a card that edges you closer to victory (like mark of the lotus, power of the wild, arbor up or the new card sow the soil) or a card that gains you value after a board clear? Lets look at another example, lets say you have a few minions on the board and need to draw a buffing spell to win or else you lose, now earlier you decided to replace a buffing spell in your deck with composting, so back to the duel, you draw a card and it’s composting. This is the problem with running this card in an aggro deck, because it doesn’t really matter. If your opponent is able to clear your board as an aggro druid then you’ve most likely already lost since most board clears cost a fair bit of mana to cast and if that happens then it doesn’t matter what cards you draw of off composting, because it’s most likely going to be the late game and the power of your aggro cards fall off pretty hard after the early to mid game. Now I could be wrong and this card might see play in various different aggro decks for some reason I haven’t though of or because I’m simply just wrong. And I’ll accept that if that’s the case. Jesus have I really been writing this long about 1 fucking card?
Fairly sure Wild aggro druid will want to try this, and it will wither work very, very well or be utterly useless.
