So looking at the card itself, it’s going to be interesting to see where either Quest or Overload Shaman is going to go. For 5 Overload Cards, you can effectly pay your overloaded cards back with Stormcall Bru’er for how much power he can provide for you. And then Imagine how much spams of Dunk Tank and Y’Sharrj for extra Ammo you can do for Shaman, as well.
I’m going to give it 4 however, it’s a very scary card, but so is insta-deleting the opponent with Priest, so long as Priest Play Curve.
Hmm. . . I disagree with Regiskillbin, there maybe a lot of overload cards, but this, is just not worth playing and the invest is way over the top. Plus, the chance of pulling off like say 2 lightning bolts, overgrowth, and maybe, just maybe, one or two more overload cards. Which is why I think this card is way too slow, and there are better options for Shaman, and mind you, the current leader on HSReplay.com is Aggro Elemental Shaman.
If this Questline card was generated towards a more elemental synergy, then yes, it’d be worth it.
Even if you get the reward aka Stormcaller Bru’kan, then I ask this: what will be the win condition? Cause most players, including myself, would rather use the lightning Bolts than to just hold on to them. So, what will be the win condition? I just don’t see how to win with this.
Well the 1 mana dual class get 2 spells overload (1) is pretty good for this I’d say. There WILL be more support for this since they want to push Overload Shaman with this and the Tradeable.
I don’t see it, to be honest… 8 overload cards is A LOT. You’ll have to either A) have some non-nature spells which means no Primal Dungeoneer, B) Play bad overload cards like the wolves, C) rely on Instructor Fireheart and other generators to fill the gaps. The final reward is fantastic, but Shaman has an easy enough time closing games with Doomhammer+Rockbiter+Burn, so why invest in all this? This card only makes sense for some sort of Control Shaman that probably isn’t a smart idea in general.
Agree, plus a Control Shaman build would probably work much better adding the new Legendary and the Y’Shaarj, Circus Medic, Dunk Tank OTK.
With Bloom existing, this certainly looks like one of the easier questlines to complete. Intermediates look promising, particularly the first, and the final reward well facilitates a win condition. 5/5
Yoggers support for shaman! 5 stars
So this brukan + the other brukan + a bolt deals 12 face damage. You could drop that on a turn but sounds about as likely as completing the cthuan. The meta will certainly have to slowdown to complete many if these. Early prediction is face hunter is still a force.
Idk if the final legendary is rly good.
If the targets are random then it is kinda bad. I can imagine double spells to damage enemy face, but otherwise there is not much use of it.
If not random then okay.
Prove me wrong.
Targets are not random. Nevertheless, this one doesn’t look as powerful as the other questlines (it’s not bad at all, but playing 8 overload cards is in fact not that easy). I don’t see this as a meta deck, but definitely fun, as the rest of the expansion (my favourite of all time). 4 stars
If not random then I can easily imagine OTK deck with spells.
Brukan (+3 nature spell damage) and some random combo of face damage spells + diligent notetaker
4 mana 7/7 : “Am i joke for you?”
Winner of the expansion is: ???
Between this and new super dunktank combo shamans gonna get a lot of hate.
