Nomi was the first Golden Legendary ive pulled! Love this Card. Made a wild murloc deck and Nomi is the backup for this aggro monster!! Check it out!

Cards like this ruin hearthstone. Instead of having multiple contingency strategies, 2 decks sit for 30 minutes hurling shit at each other until someone pulls this cretin and wins. Go back to the forest, his extinction can’t come any sooner

I vision an extremely fast rogue with cards 5 or less and then at the end quickly finishes with Myras unstable element. Maybe put in a shark rogue?

Sad it only has a current rating of 2.6 out of 5. Should be higher. Neutral card, so you can use it for any class (best for rogue now). Some cards like Mass Hysteria or Brawl can basically clear it, but with a cost of 7, you can play on same turn shadowstep or seance and create more.

(Rating based on play it will see in the upcoming meta, similar to trump’s ratings)

    3 Stars

Very strong effect, especially with Myra’s. Will this be a consistent combo? Maybe. Could the opponent stop the 6/6’s after you play it? They could with either: equality combos, brawl, twisting nether, frost nova + doomsayer or even mass hysteria. Mass hysteria and brawl will probably be very prevalent in the meta, so this won’t be very good against priest or warrior unless you play around these cards heavily by creating wide boards forcing them to waste their brawls, thus making your combo take much longer to pull off, or you shadowstep Nomi meaning another piece is added to the combo, making it more inconsistent.

Does rogue have enough control cards to sustain themselves for enough turns to pull off this combo? Probably not.

The only way I see this being played is in an aggressive rogue deck that would already run myra’s as a strong card, but just puts in Nomi, not as a deck defining card, but as a back card used to close an aggro vs control matchup in the mid to late game. This way you will be forcing your opponent to play removals, making your future Nomi turn safer, as well as having an extra win condition, SMORC.

I think such a deck would be overpowered pre-rotation with cards like Keleseth, vilespine slayer, Elven minstrel and Baku. However with these strong cards leaving standard, I don’t think rogue has the “oomf” of a strong aggro deck just yet. So I think its a 3 Star card (for now) as a powerful card, run as a backup (similar to prince liam in odd paladin) in a tier 3 (maybe tier 2) deck.

this card is totally broken. You can play aggro rogue and if u see it doesnt work u play Myra’s Unstable Element + Chef Nomi and shadowstep U are not waiting to turn 9 or end of the deck. This card simply allow you to change your deck from aggro version to heavy board control deck for two turns. This is op card and new meta cancer deck.

Or better yet just Academic Espionage, so you’d get ten discounted cards.

Just about to say this fits perfectly into agro rogue as a finisher t6-t8 where response aoe is hard to come by (limited by mana cost, card draw or used on agro minions already)

Just really good for Protecting or Finishing off the Last few Turns.

Rogue will be only deck to give this serious play other decks wanting to go to fatigue are going for mechathun.

Turn 9 Preparation + Myra’s Unstable Element + Chef Nomi is legit super scary. Don’t see this working in any other deck though. 3/5

Cons: This is a dead card until fatigue so it really only fits into combo decks with a fatigue win condition.

Pros: 6/6 stats can only be cleared by a handful of aoe’s now. Especially if it is so late in the game. If a control deck played this at the end it would be pretty much game over.

I’m not entirely convinced it will see play.

Mecha’thun exists, and I would say if you wanted to go into fatigue, use Mecha’thun as a finisher. However, almost all Mecha’thun OTK combos are rotating out this year, so using this card isn’t out of the question. The problem is 1. This is a dead card before fatigue 2. It doesn’t save you from lethal and 3. Since it takes a turn to attack, it’s vulnerable to AoE clears. It’s a powerful card, but not the most practical.

AoE is not as big a threat 6/6 is not easily answered by many AoE wise mostly it’s 4-5 dmg AoE and you’ve likely used all your Mana getting that much dmg

Chef Nomi would really only see play if there are enough control match-ups that are expected to go to fatigue. I know Odd Warrior won’t exist in Standard anymore when this new set is released, but that deck would at least consider playing Chef Nomi to get games that have already gone long to end a bit sooner.

A very specific sort of deck and meta game will be needed to make this card work consistently, but if your control deck needs a thirtieth card and you’re pretty sure a lot of games will go very long, this could be a decent option.

A board of 6/6s is a helluva thing, but only Fatigue decks in a not-too-combo-heavy meta would be interested in running this. The exception is Rogue, who can empty her deck with Myra’s, drop this, and then fill it back up with Academic Espionage.

I agree. It can be staple in rouge decks
