Chameleos Card Review

Probably my favorite card from The Witchwood so far. It’s like a much better version of Shifter Zerus, which was actually a pretty fun card, although not that powerful. But why is it better?

The most important thing is when it comes to this card is gaining information. Every turn you see one random card from your opponent’s hand, meaning that you can gain a lot of intel about them. If it’s the early game, you can learn what deck they play (it might not always be obvious for the first few turns – e.g. whether you play vs Combo Dragon Priest or Control Dragon Priest, those can have exactly the same early game). Later, you can learn about the tech cards they’re holding, about whether or not they drew their combo piece, if they have an AoE clear in their hand etc. Just a basic example – this card turns into a Twisting Nether against Warlock. Simple – now you’re sure that they have one instead of just guessing and you play around it, or try to bait it with refill still in your hand.

However, that alone wouldn’t likely be worth a card slot. Good players already have solid reads on their opponents – depending on how long they’re holding each card, what plays they make, or even what cards they hover over (really!). But what if you could use that card as well? No problem, because you can.

The problem with cards like Zerus I’ve mentioned at the beginning or Molten Blade, or even Shifting Scroll, is that they’re pulling from a certain, fixed pool of cards. In this pool, there are great cards, but there are also bad cards. I’d even say that there are more bad ones than good ones. With Chameleos, you’re pulling cards from your opponent’s deck – and people only put good cards into their decks. Yes, there will be some synergy issues – like Deadly Poison against Rogue might be unplayable, or you won’t really be able to utilize Divine Favor against Paladin, but MOST of the cards will be at least playable, and sometimes even very powerful.

This will be especially powerful in Control matchups, where you will be able to gain a lot of intel about their hand and then play one of their big threats before they do. Copying high value cards is a great way to get ahead in such a matchup. It will be slightly less useful against Aggro, but not useless. Some Aggro deck minions are good – I mean, they’re running Taunts like Righteous Protector, Tar Creeper or Saronite Chain Gang sometimes. Their burn/weapons can also be used against them to control the board. Since you’re more likely to put this card in instead of a big threat, like Ysera (because it will eventually become a big threat in Control matchup anyway), you’d still much rather have this than Ysera in the early/mid game, and that’s what matters against Aggro.

The biggest issue, however, is that it shifts every turn no matter what. You can’t stop it. You can’t plan ahead for it. E.g. if you know that you have a Voidlord in your hand that you stole through other means, it is there and it won’t disappear. Now picking Bloodreaver Gul'dan as your next Discover option from Drakonid Operative might be great, because the Voidlord will get resummoned. If you get Voidlord from Chameleos and you can’t play it immediately, you can’t plan for it. It might be something completely different next turn, and your opponent might already drop that Voidlord. Another negative is this being a 1/1 on the turn you draw it, but that’s not THAT big of a deal.

So while I don’t think this card is AS strong as some people are selling it, it’s my favorite of the set so far. I hope that they come up with more cleverly designed Legendaries like this – with both upsides and downsides, ones that promote thinking and making correct decisions depending on the information you get. I like it!

Card rating: 7/10

Small small chance and when you pull it off, it’s useless, but think of how fun it would be to use Tolin’s Goblet and then draw this card lol

You’re forgetting the MOST important aspect of this card: it’s a beast!

This card is broken as hell. If you hold it the whole game you can have so much information about their hand. People are only looking at this at face value. Cards with similar effects have gotten banned in other card games. Information is powerful.

Yes it will, it’s not good for it’s cards but the information, you see you can know what cards your enemy has by simply having this in your hand meaning.

Basically you gain information every round, which is great.

So far this is the card that seems more interesting to me as I really like the stealing priest mechanic.

My question is, how would this card work? It’s very heavy RNG card that can work or be useless. It’s shifter zerus, but a little better. I mean, having the ability to see your opponent’s hand is very strong, but where would this card fit in? I feel like it’s a 2 Star or 3 star card, NOT a 4 Star.

      • Derlinwall
        April 1, 2018 at 11:05 PM

Its so much better than zerus. Zerus can give you the most garbage minions, but this is going to give you only cards that people actually want to play. Granted, its not a top tier minion, and it fits into a very niche deck, but its not useless by any means.

ok, lets say you’re playing zoo priest. If you draw this on turn 1, by turn 5 you know at least 3 cards in their hand so you can play around them, which is very useful! maybe you even know what secrets they have, or what removal. Also zoo priest doesn’t play many spells as it contains spiteful summoner – so the addition of a spell of choice to your hand is pretty damn useful – most spells in an enemies hand in constructed are not going to be too bad! I think this card will see play

    • Soup And Salad
      March 31, 2018 at 9:04 PM

The issue with relying on this card to give you the sort of spells your Spiteful Priest deck lacks is that this is simply not reliable. It is a good tool for the class to have, but it won’t be a staple as it won’t show up in your opening hand all of the time and it is the worst card you can draw at the start of your turn.

Outside of the control match-ups, a deck will rarely play any cards that will be useful against them. Paladins and Zoo Warlocks aren’t playing AOE removal, Secret Mages aren’t playing healing or token generation, Midrange Hunters aren’t playing Taunts, Priests aren’t playing aggressive cards, and Big Spell and Exodia Mages aren’t combo interceptors.

The information it gives you is powerful, but against aggressive and midrange decks, it is against useless since the information given come too slow to prepare for or bait out.

    • Soup And Salad
      March 31, 2018 at 6:23 AM

Only in the control match-up. Against anything else, it’s the worst card in your deck unless it ended up in your opening hand. Even then, you’re paying one card in your opening hand against aggro just to know they have a Call to Arms or whatever else in their hand.

      • A13x
        March 31, 2018 at 7:43 AM

Priest is very good as control and don’t suffer too much against aggro.
On the contrary, this card in a proper deck may giving you effective wins.

        • Soup And Salad
          March 31, 2018 at 8:03 AM

In a proper deck that draws this in its opening hand, and right now it is losing rather hard against aggro unless its the current Control Priest, which is still about even with both Aggro Paladin decks out there right now. I doubt losing ant-aggro tools like Shadow Word: Horror, Potion of Madness, Pint-sized Potion, Dragonfire Potion, Greater Healing Potion and the ease of use Duskbreaker currently has and generally good cards like Kabal Talonpriest, Kabal Songstealer, and the best parts of the Dragon Package will make any Priest varient better at dealing with aggressive decks without the use of every neutral anti-aggro tool The Witchwood will have to offer.

Unless The Witchwood ends up being the mythical control metagame everyone has been begging for without really knowing what that’ll result in (every hand of HS taking 30 minutes), this will end up being a tech card at best in most cases.

What’s wrong in 30 minutes Hearthstone games?
At the end of the day it is a card game so it should be about strategy and thinking not about finishing it as fast as you can. It’s like complaining a chess game takes too long.

          • Soup And Salad
            April 2, 2018 at 3:22 PM

            To Wow

While the strategy aspects of a card game are always important to consider, if every game of Hearthstone took a full 30 minutes to complete, it would get old very quickly. It will also make it nearly impossible to efficiently climb ladder for anyone who does not have a 90% win rate.

A well designed card game is what happens when Poker and Chess blend together. However, an average chess game is about 40 moves, and a chess master will rarely need to take a full minion to make their move. There is a reason why most chess tournaments are done with a timer.

          March 31, 2018 at 10:09 AM

I think you haven ever played priest: It fucking sucks against aggro, often you die before turn 8.

The chameleon card is cool, but you have to wait one turn before it transforms, which makes it a horrible topdecked.
And if your opponent has no cards in hand it is a 1/1.

good but not great imo. Knowing your opponent hand, playing around it and using it at key moments, whether to burst, or to gain board makes it a good card. However, it does jack shit when you are facing aggro or tempo cards when you are behind and needed a key card from topdecks to swing the match into your favor when you are behind. There are times when you get shitty draw and needed certain cards to save your life, this clearly isnt one of them :p.

    March 30, 2018 at 11:51 PM

If your opponent is holding Chameleos and your Chameleos will change into their Chameleos, would it be just 1/1 Chameleos or would it change into card from your hand his Chameleos is changed into?

    • StarPlatnum
      March 31, 2018 at 12:09 AM

This question makes me so happy. of course i dont know for sure but i’m guessing:

your Chameleos will turn into the card the opponent’s Chameleos is currently copying ultimately granting you a copy of a card in your hand.

The only exception being if they just drew Chameleos and it has not had a turn to change into one of your cards in which case your Chameleos will change into a copy of your opponent’s Chameleos

      • StarPlatnum
        March 31, 2018 at 12:17 AM

now, where the real interesting mechanics comes into play: if your Chameleos is currently copying thier Chameleos which is copying one of your cards, will your Chameleos change when their Chameleos changes at the start of thier turn. since it is still the same card but it shifted into an entirely different card from your hand.

in case that wasn’t clear. if your Chameleos has turned into the opponent’s shifter zerus (Each turn this is in your hand, transform it into a different minion.) will it change into the new zerus card at the start of the opponent’s turn

          March 31, 2018 at 6:22 AM

  13. Jhonny Krabzdik
    March 30, 2018 at 9:13 PM

I wonder how RNG works with this card: will it switch automatically to a different card than the one it currently copies, or is there a chance that it will “transform” into the same card you are already “looking at” (in other words, a fully randomized pick from all cards in hand). It’s pretty dope if it auto-changes to a new card, def OP if it changes to a previously unseen card. I’d say it most likely chooses from all cards, meaning if my opponent keeps the same 3 cards Chameleos is %100 going to to be the same card 3 turns in a row.

    March 30, 2018 at 8:21 PM

Wow, it looks like priest has some great cards coming. The other priest legendary is just as good if not better. I wish warrior would get the same treatment. Might as well call the game Prieststone.

    • Soup And Salad
      March 31, 2018 at 9:08 PM

Priest is losing about half of their unconditionally good cards with the rotation (Kabal Talonpriest, Dragonfire Potion, Drakonid Operative, ect.), so I doubt a Prieststone situation will occur.

All Warrior needs to explode back into the forefront of the Metagame is a good early game weapon, and we have not seen the one or two weapons Warrior tends to get per expansion as of yet.

It would be fun to copy a maxed-out Kingsbane. That’d teach ’em 😀

    • Ely
      March 30, 2018 at 4:46 PM

That’s wishful thinking cause Rogue always has kingsbane equipped rather then having it in their hand, also Kingsbane is so cheap to play there really is no reason to keep it in your hand, so i doubt Chameleos will ever get this card for you, err.. well unless you’re rank 22 then you might be able to steal it from some novice Rogue.

      • Thrombin
        March 30, 2018 at 6:49 PM

It wasn’t a particularly serious comment but it does happen: In the end game when they’re juggling multiple Kings Bane they got from the DK to avoid fatiguing themselves.

        • Xix
          March 30, 2018 at 7:19 PM

Operative copies kingsbane without the buff… So i doubt this card will copy the buffs… Allso rogue is losing all minions (except greenskin) that buff kingsbane, so that deck is probably death.

  17. Moltar
    March 30, 2018 at 3:28 PM

Its a beast, that means dk hunter can roll it?

    • Rookskull
      March 30, 2018 at 3:55 PM

No, DK can only discover Hunter or neutral beasts.

    • Usarnavon
      March 30, 2018 at 11:50 PM

It’s technically possible to discover it with the hero power, but it relies on:
A.) Opponent is Hunter Death Knight, you are Priest
B.) You copy their hero power (via Sideshow Spell Eater, for example)
C.) The Rexxar Hero Power is updated to include beasts from newer expansions

So it ought to be possible (albeit uncommon) in Wild once Witchwood comes out, but unlikely and probably not worth it.

      • Dude
        March 31, 2018 at 7:07 AM

It has been confirmed that Rexxars beast pool is going to be updated with the new expansion. Which is cool by itself, i guess.

      • Superbaas
        March 31, 2018 at 9:09 AM

When you become deaths talker rexxar, you become a hunter, regardless of original class, so deathstalker will never be able to find this card. Unknown how build-a-beast works when copied by sideshow spelleater, so that may work.

  20. TPKPatchy
    March 30, 2018 at 2:34 PM

I think everyone is overrating this so much. After a month or so everyone is net decking and you can pretty much tell every card in someone’s deck from their first few turns.
It doesn’t help any of your game plans or interfere with your opponents, and in most match ups it provides you with less information than just knowing the meta does.

    • Ugin
      March 30, 2018 at 2:55 PM

It’s not about knowing what deck your opponant is playing, it’s about learning what he got in his hand.

    • Xander Raidon
      March 30, 2018 at 4:40 PM

As Ugin said, one thing is to know what cards does his deck have, and another to know exactly what cards he’s holding. Also, priest can afford holding onto a card that can potentially turn into a strong card from your opponent’s hand in control matchups.

      • af
        March 31, 2018 at 12:38 AM

There is the problem, you do not know exactly, you know a couple cards.

    • TPKPatchy
      March 31, 2018 at 4:43 AM

Exactly, against control decks if you only know two out of 7 cards, you still have to play around everything they have.

And against control decks you don’t want their removal, And against aggro decks you don’t want their minions.

This just seems to give you no game changing information or cards you want

  21. Kingmhd
    March 30, 2018 at 2:24 PM

Just a few turns and you know exatly what’s in your opponent’s hand. Amazing card if you know your opponent’s hand you can expect all his moves. Also keep it and play it in the right time will be a huge value

  22. Ely
    March 30, 2018 at 2:18 PM

I don’t think the average Hearthstone player truly understand the value of being able to spy on your opponents hand. This is definitely a skill testing card no doubt. I don’t wanna go on and on like some sorta Rick and Morty meme comment where i belittle peoples I.Q, however this card was not printed for your level 22 ranked player, this is a snipping tool meant for somewhat skilled players to use effectively.

    • Soup And Salad
      March 30, 2018 at 2:43 PM

Yeah knowing what’s in your opponent’s hand can be extremely powerful, but this is a legendary that won’t show up in your hand most of the time.
Plus, unlike cards like Duress and Thoughtseive from Magic The Gathering and Confiscation and the Forceful Sentry from Yugioh, this does not reveal the opponent’s entire hand nor allow you to choose a card to discard from it.
A more skillful player will get more out of this card, but knowing a Warlock is holding onto a Voidlord and Skull of the Man’ari on turns 3 & 4 or a Paladin holding Call to Arms on turn 3, doesn’t do you a whole lot. There will be times it does matter like when it copies a card you’d rather clear with that board-wipe in your hand next turn rather than doing it to the board this turn, but Dirty Rat forcing a minion onto the board will be more effective more often.
It’s still a good card, and in a control base format, it will likely see quite a bit of play to get like two copies of The Lich King or Ysera or something similar.

    • Xix
      March 30, 2018 at 7:16 PM

If a priest is constantly checking the same card in his hand each turn, you can tell he is holding this card. So it will allso be a skilltest to not constantly take a closer look at what this card transforms into. XD

But personaly I find this card kind of unfair in a card game…

  23. Ab00000
    March 30, 2018 at 2:16 PM

I would say this is one of the hardest cards to rate of the set (granted we haven’t seen all the cards). I’m going to go ahead and say it is a bad card simply because we have seen with zeros and scroll that these kinds of effects just don’t work

    • ShoM
      March 30, 2018 at 2:38 PM

This is nothing like a scroll. Every card it turns into is a card good enough to be played as opponent chose to have it. Secondarily its not about being played. Its a card that is supposed to stay in hand and give you intel for a while. For example knowing what secret a mage has in their hand is super strong. Or being shown paladin has the equality. Not quite as potent vs aggro but even there the card it turns to is 90% of the time an efficient board competing tool

      • Ab00000
        March 30, 2018 at 8:18 PM

Oh I actually misread the card! I thought it only applied to minions. That changes things… yes well now I have more hope for Chameleos

        • Xix
          March 31, 2018 at 12:04 AM

It’s still weird for a minion to change into a spell, weapon, heroe card. So I really wonder if it really changes into everything. Allso does that mean once your openents hand is empty it will return to itself? That kind of means that when playing against agro, this card will lose it’s value after turn 6 or so…

          • Superbaas
            March 31, 2018 at 9:13 AM

It turned into equality on the reveal stream.

  24. James Baugh
    March 30, 2018 at 2:06 PM

I don’t know if you guys realize how STRONG information is in Hearthstone. This is 100% 5 star card. Cards like this in most Card games have MAJOR impacts on the game…think Duress from Magic the gathering. I mean granted duress was/is really strong because it can blow up combos. Being able to get insight into what your opponent has in store for you is REALLY powerful.

    • Soup And Salad
      March 30, 2018 at 2:28 PM

Duress and Thoughtseize reveal the opponent’s entire hand. This only reveals one card at a time and there is no guarantee for it to reveal a different one each turn.

Plus those two cards allow you to discard a card from their hand not just look at it.

      • Ely
        March 30, 2018 at 2:44 PM

Chameleos is was more meant for control matchups, against agro i’d say Chameleos is a pretty worthless card. But it seems the meta has somewhat slowed down. Even though you can only peer into your opponents hand one card at a time doesn’t make it a bad card. I feel you’re overlooking the potential of being able to look at your opponents hand; even one card at a time. Again this is best for a control matchup of course. Also i should mention you can play this card when the time is right.. say your opponent has flooded the board and you’re S.O.L.. But wait.. Chameleos just copied Lord Godfrey or Dragonfire Potion (YES! it can even copy spells) . The Bam the card that you where only using to only spy on your opponent with just got bamboozled because you just copied one of their high powered cards or some sorta card that can clear the board. This card is more flexible then at first glance.

        • Ely
          March 30, 2018 at 2:48 PM

Also i forgot to add that, Yes.. It would be a horrible card if it was the last card in your deck, obviously. However we’re just going to pretend that you draw it more times then not.

        • Soup And Salad
          March 30, 2018 at 3:58 PM

It seems like in the case you mentioned playing another boardwipe (Dragonfire Potion is leaving standard by the way) would be more effective more often than hoping your opponent is holding onto one and getting a copy of it when it is one of at least 5 other card right as you need it. It’s flexibility is all up to RNGesus.

Yes. This is for the control match-up, but I would rather play another high power card rather than something that can potentially be anything. It’s similar to how discovering a card in your opponent’s deck will often be better than adding two random cards from their deck to your hand.

There is power in information, but this is a really slow acquisition of information. This card can make or break a game, yes, but it is extremely time sensitive.

This will be a tech card for control match-ups at best and a Hail Mary throw more often. Curious Glimmerroot will often end up being better in part because of its body, and a skilled player with a deck tracker can usually make an educated guess as to what is in their opponent’s hand based on what has been played and how their opponent is acting.

          • Amethonys
            March 30, 2018 at 4:28 PM

Most cards you’d want you wouldn’t even play. Sure let’s assume best case scenario it’s control vs control. Against warrior unless you copy Deadmans Hand the card is straight up dead since they run little minions and a lot of minion based cards. Your highroll in the match up is copying deadman or shield block. You’ll never want brawl or slam or bloodrazor or anything like that and knowing they have it does little since you should already play ASSUMING they have it.

Now warlock. Get it early and you could keep copying voidlords without 9 mana to spend on them making the card equally unplayable. The rest is going to be very lackluster cards like skull or board clears which unless you copy twisting nether the turn they bloodreaver are also dead cards since you will generally have the board. The only card worth ever taking from the warlock is any of the seals off of Rin but that is hoping on at least a 1/6 at best in the control mirror since he is going to have a massive hand most games. Copying Rin herself is also usually not worth it since outside of pain you can’t pop your own and getting spellbreakered is not good (Also getting a seal means you skip out on at least 6 mana of the ritual).

Any streamer that has experience with being sniped knows exactly how powerfull it is to know what your openent is holding. And this guy might be doing 1 card a turn, but there is no stream delay!
Take for example playing against a murloc pally and you keep this guy in your opening hand. If this guy transforms into a ‘gentle megasaur’ You know that you better clear up those murlocs on his board. BUT if this guy transforms into a ‘Call to arms’ you might concider holding onto your duskbreaker a turn longer.
These key parts of information can be more valueable than getting some high value card. And you could just have this guy spy on your openents deck until turn 10 or so and than just take some high value card or boardclear at some point because you dont need the information anymore.

I think you can compare this card with ‘Prince Keleseth’, if you get him in your opening hand you might have a 10% higher chance to win the game. I think that’s the powerlevel of this card.

This will be a good card, its sort of getting expensive to be a priest since he has so many legendaries that are too good to pass.

The utility is just endless here. Adds another dimension of when to play it or hold it.

im 90% sure this card will be played in almost every competitive deck.Being able to know what cards your opponent is about to play is so powerful in the hands of a good player.

At first glance its effect seems very powerful but you need to consider the fact that this Chameleos would be a terrible top deck in the late game and knowing a single card in your opponents hand won’t prevent your opponent from playing other cards (even if your opponent doesn’t know what card you’re scouting)
There could be cases where Chameleos transforms into Lord Godfrey so you play only 3 health minions to prevent Lord Godfrey from killing your board, but then your opponent plays Abyssal Enforcer/Hellfire or something and kills your board anyway (bad example but it makes my point)
knowing a single card in your opponents hand gives you a heads up on only one card per turn for the price of using up a card slot, using up hand space, etc..

Monster Hunt single-player… and now Chameleos… A Monster Hunter fan clearly has infiltrated Blizzard.

It is harder to use than people think. You only see one card and it can be the same card a couple of turns. You also do not know if opponent got 2 of the same card. And it 9nly works until you play it, being a dead card if used for this.

In terms of playing it, it will be rare that the card it turns into will be the better play to whatever you have in your hand besides this. Lets take cube lock as an example. Turn 8- Voidlord wont help you, and rarely will you do anything with defile, doomguard, Warlock weapon, Gul’Dan, Cube or almost whatever hour opponent has.

Have you played control priest vs warlock. Stealing a guldan is pretty good.

        March 31, 2018 at 12:33 AM

The point was, when can you afford to play him the exact turn you get him, when you have on average around 1 in 7 chabce to get him.
And what about the other cards? The list also goes on and on with lackey, hellfire, doomsayer etc. they are all cards that are either bad or need specific board situation to be played. You are lucky to get a card that fits the turn you are playing.

          March 31, 2018 at 6:20 AM

It’s a 1/1 the turn you get him 🙂 Any deck you play this in will have 20 chances to find a card they want to play.

      March 30, 2018 at 1:57 PM

This is insane man. Not only you can use a card your opponent has, you also can see his cards and you can make a strategy around this.
Is like playing vs kripparian while he’s streaming and you know his hand.

      • Amethonys
        March 30, 2018 at 4:34 PM

I don’t think I would ever want to use defile, hellfire, twisting nether, siphon soul, doomguard, skull of the manari, or dark pact against control warlock. Knowing my opponent has skull on turn 3 means nothing. Transforming a card in my hand into twisting nether means nothing. You’re going to play around these cards anyway so knowing they have these doesn’t change the fact you’ll never play Harrison Jones or spellbreaker on curve with no battery.

In control mirrors the card doesn’t do anything since half your opponents deck is unplayable since it’s board clears and control priest almost always had the board on warlock and warrior making every board clear a dead card.

Its not really about knowing what he has in hand. Actually its more about what he doesnt have in his hand.

Famous Jake did a custom card review of basically this card. Here’s a link if you want his thoughts: https://youtu.be/Eqf4ctrkdss?t=3m22s

It’s a cool card to have around. The information it provides will usually only be situational, and most of the time you’ll already know what your opponent is playing by just their class, outside of a situation where there are like 17 different and distinct decks in a class. If this were around right now, all the good the information would do you is tell you if you’re playing against a Murloc Paladin or a Dude Paladin. Even then you won’t know for sure right away since there is a lot of overlap between the two decks.

It can be cool to see your Cubelock opponent has the Skull in their hand, but knowing that won’t do much for you. It’s not like Warlock plays any other weapons to use their removal on. And it’s not a like setting up a Counterspell or a Potion of Polymorph at just the right time to take care of a threat instantly. There’s usually not a whole lot you can do about a cards like that in a class without secrets. Maybe you’ll know when to use that Shadow Word better or to wait on using that boardwipe since they have another token spawner in hand, but giving up a card in your opening hand or a top deck in a class without that much draw power doesn’t seem worth it.

The card you get can be useful, but really useful cards in your opponent’s hand will usually be played as soon as they are able, often before you’re able to. I am sure there will be rather funny situations where you can get a meme out of it.

Auto include for control vs control. In the fatigue matchups you can pretty much choose the best card in their deck. Not a huge liability vs agro since it at least gives you a little something to fight for the board and slow them down a bit early. One downside of these cards is they don’t transform the turn they are drawn and are dead cards for the first turn but the positives seem to outweigh that.

Could be good, but I feel like this is meme material mostly. Shifter Zerus never really saw play so idk about this one. It does have advantages over Zerus, to be fair. The real question is, if you’re playing control priest, do you have room for this card?

    • Donald Trump
      March 30, 2018 at 2:49 PM

It is not like shifter zerus or a scroll. Most of the time you dont actually want to play the card chameleos is transformed into. You literally snipe your opponent.

      • Advocaat
        March 30, 2018 at 11:46 PM

Also it’s important to realize that Zerus changes to everything including total crap. Chameleos only changes into playable cards since your opponent chose to play them.

The ultimate steal Priest tool. I love it. I’m thinking 60% of the turns this is a dead card in hand, but in Control Priest you should always have more cards in hand, all the while you probe your oponent’s hand. And at some point you can use your oponent’s resources against him, à-la Drakonid OP. 5/5 stars.

Wow, this card is awesome in any way. You always be aware what cards he holds. 5 stars – no discussion about that.
