This seems pretty decent, not least because it’s potentially difficult to play around due to its high health. Even without any kind of buff, if dropped on turn 4, this will probably require two trades to clear, and as such represents a probable 1-damage aoe against some decks, which could be particularly problematic for the likes of stealth rogue. This will most likely see play in the likes of Warrior or any deck running the Broomstick, particularly paladin. Overall, solid but possibly not amazing. 3.7/5
Update: So my overall thought about Blademaster Samuro, now that I’ve seen what he can truly pull is is something to be aware off. If you were to just buff the attack, it still surives, It’s going to effectively be a terrifying AoE Clear for you. You can really pull off some 4 Damage AoE when given, and that’s just 1 extra attack difference. Imagine with what it can do if it had more.
I’m ging to give Blademaster however still 4 stills, just becuase it’s a legendary, and you won’t always daw this by Turn 4-6. So you seriously need to fish for this card.
Very weak in everyone except warrior.

This will likely see play in a midrange warrior deck, which can easily increase the attack with Stage Dive, Parade Leader, and Inner Rage. On turn 4 especially, 3 damage to all enemy minions can be devastating against aggro or tempo decks.
I believe that this card will find homes in multiple decks since it has so many combos. I think it can and will be game-ending in a lot of instances. 5 stars.
4 mana deal 1 damage to all enemy minions is not impressive at all, by the standards of today’s meta. In fact most aggro decks seem to play 2-3 health minions now, like battlemage, bonechewer brawler or treants you get from token cards.
You’d need somewhere around a 2-3 damage aoe to really make a dent in your opponent’s board – 1 aoe damage is pretty irrelevant now. And to get a 2-3 damage aoe off this card you’d need to run some handbuffs, which I’d say would make your deck pretty weak if this is the only card you’re looking to handbuff.
Not only that, but this guy’s aoe clear only triggers once. So after his initial effect his 1/4ish body left on the board would be pretty irrelevant.
And against pretty much every non small minion-based aggro deck, this card is unplayable garbage.
I disagree, and I think you are vastly underestimating the power of buff spells. For a class like priest who loves board clears and already runs apotheosis, this seems like it fits in right. I also think that Libram decks can run this instead of cons to get the 2-3 damage to all with a beefy minion left behind in almost all circumstances where you would want to use this. Many classes are losing vital clear cards, so a well statted clear minion makes sense. I think the card is very comparable to Wild Pyro. I do understand your points and I could see it being too slow, but I do think it will find a home in a couple of decks and it will be very helpful.
Oh yeah, you have a point, this card might fit into Libram Paladin thanks to all those 0 mana +1/+1 spells. I didn’t think of that.
Probably not in priest, though. If you’re looking to clear the board, you’d probably be playing some control deck. And if you’re playing a control deck, a buff spell like Apotheosis would be mostly pointless in your deck, except to buff up Blademaster for this one very specific combo. I don’t think it’d be worth it to run 3 bad cards in your deck(1 blademaster and 2 apotheosis’s, presumably) just to add in one extra board clear. You’d much rather run a 1 card combo of Breath of the Infinite or Holy Nova for more consistency.
^ That might be a sick combo though – you deal 3 damage to all enemy minions and also heal a crap ton of health, since this guy’s frenzy ability presumably contributes to lifesteal from apotheosis. But I don’t see that as being consistent enough.
In most cases, consistency is not an issue if the combo is incredibly strong. Sethekk is not rotating, but Breath of the infinite is. Sethekk already combos pretty well, so apotheosis having multiple opportunities and combos with other cards make’s it even better. I just believe that if Priest does not see 1 or 2 new board clears, this combo def seems like it’s worth it. Plus, Priest has so much mana cheating that this combo probably comes before turn 7 and destroys enemy aggro boards and heals a bunch. It’s too bad Inner fire is rotating, 5 mana deal 7 to all enemies, and develop a threat would be pretty good. I think that this card can go either way, but I just think it makes enough sense to be a really strong card.
Handbuff it and it’ll be terrifying. 4 stars.
This looks solid for Libram decks, and if any class gets a decent amount of playable handbuff cards, even better!
This + Cold Blood = the forbidden rogue board clear
Obviously needs a buff. 4 mana for 1/6 rush is bad value, what’s more, it needs to attack and survive at least 1 damage. Good counter for token board, but 1 damage to minions is not very effective at clearing board, especially at 4 mana which is often too late already.
Buff to 3 mana cost, or at least 2/6 body. Or there’s some frenzy synergy unseen for now. 3/10.
Hard disagree, the potential for a strong early game board as a neutral shouldn’t be great on its own. It having one attack gives like pally priest and warrior the ability to synergize with it by buffing it’s attack .
Implying that it will be dealing 1 damage, and not be used alongside buffs to deal more damage. Even 2 damage makes it more than viable.
Without any support, it’s a neutral 1/6 with rush bundled with an Arcane Explosion, don’t see how it “obviously” needs a buff.
