Broken enough to be played in Constructed – che… oh wait.
I like this card a lot! This is a very well designed “average card”. It’s clearly not broken, it doesn’t activate any crazy combos, the effect is a bit small, but the body is really solid. It’s a perfect example of an above average, but not “amazing” card. Better than your average pack filler, but might have a hard time finding its home in a Constructed deck.
But wait, I’ve heard some people saying that it might revive Exodia Paladin. But I really don’t think so – this guy allows you to play your Hero Power twice and that’s it, you don’t have enough mana to do more.
Where this card could fit is just a deck with a strong Hero Power. Two examples are: decks playing Death Knight cards and Baku the Mooneater decks. While some Death Knight Hero Powers would be great to play twice during a turn (e.g. Warlock’s or Mage’s), I don’t think that’s where the card belongs. The problem is that it will be pretty bad until you play your DK. You rarely want to play your Basic Hero Powers more than once, and you sometimes don’t draw your DK until the late game.
At the same time, this should be a solid fit into a Baku deck – if such a deck will exist. Remember that those decks will look for new cards to fill the even mana slots, and this seems like a solid one. In the late game, repeating an upgraded Hero Power can give you quite a lot of extra value.
One more thing is Quest Warrior. This card would be absolutely insane in the late game, allowing you to repeat the 8 damage Hero Power. That said, it doesn’t do much to help you GET there, not to mention that Quest Warrior is a pretty dead deck right now (everything might change after the rotation, obviously).
What’s working for this card are the stats. Remember that this card could be vanilla until Turn 7 – only then you can play your HP, this and then repeat your HP. So, from Turn 3 to Turn 6, this is just a minion with no effect. However, the 3/4 stats kind of make up for that.
This is not one of those amazing new cards with cool mechanics. It’s just okay. I feel like it might see some play, but it will never be great, and rarely be the reason you won a certain match.

Turn 7: 3/4 minion + 4 silver hand recruits
Good tempo in Midrange hunter… Deathstalker Rexxar on turn 6 and then Blackwald Pixie and double hero power on turn 7.
Otherwise;
In Baku Hunter… this is a 7 mana 3/4 with Battlecry: deal 6 damage to enemy hero
In Baku Hunter, Nightblade does the same thing with better stats.
(7 mana total, 6 damage to face, 4/4 body)
Stick a Clockwork Automaton on the board though and Pixie becomes a 7 mana 3/4 with Battlecry: Deal 12 damage to face
You don’t get that option with Nightblade
This card worries me a bit, imagine this in a face baku hunter, 6 damage from 1 card on turn 7 or just a 3/4 to play on curve.
3 damage from 1 card. You get the first 3 damages anyway.
That is a 7 mana combo. Mages have been able to play Fireball and a three drop minion on turn 7 since the inception of the game without deck building restrictions and can choose to have that six damage hit any target. Don’t worry about it.
The card review is really spot on for this one. I would be excited to draft this in arena. 3/5.
Amazing in arena, not in constructive

There are so many things wrong with what you just said. The hero power still costs mana summoning portal can’t make it cost less that 1 mana it’s not infinite at all it’s 4 mana to hero power and bounce so maybe you get three a turn but it takes a turn to set up and they’ll just clear it.
Basically it’s a solid 3/4 body to drop on turn 3 – but the battlecry means that, in the right deck, it might not be a terrible top-deck in the late game; but there’s a fair bit of competition in the 3-drop slot.
I know warlock doesn’t need any help but wouldn’t it be cool to use DK Guldan’s Siphon Life twice in one turn?
This seems pretty alright for what its trying to do. I do think its a shame it cannot be used with Genn, but it can be useful especially with some of the Death Knight Hero powers like Druid’s or Hunter’s or other upgraded powers like Quest Warrior’s. The stats are pretty decent too.
I thought that this was nothing but an acceptable pack-filler card until I thought of the implications this would have in a Baku deck. Being able to use two upgraded hero powers in one turn is pretty attractive. Don’t know whether or not it would stay in very long, though. Putting it as a 2-Star for now, since I still don’t think it’ll be too popular.

Yep quest warrior could generate 16 damage points in one turn with Alex face the turn before. Or even the windfury hero power is upgraded a control warrior deck. Nice card!

All people here,cant see the card stats? 3 mana 3/4 stats?This card is already good for the stats.Top 3 mana minion.And has decent battlecry..What we are talking?
Well Auctionmaster Beardo is a 3 mana 3/4 too and he is not played as a stand-alone card, only works in Exodia paladin. This can’t do any great combo so… I think it is more or less worse then Auctionmaster Beardo. And will there for not see much play. But hey maybe the rotation makes this card good enough but I don’t think so.
It does Beardo’s effect once, as a battlecry. In Baku hunter, this allows you to get off 2 hero powers in one turn, speeding up the timer on the opponent’s life. It gives a quarter-decent body on turn 7. It’s all right.
Might be ok in odd-decks! With the uppgraded Hero Power!
Or Taunt warrior maybe? Good with ragg Hero Power!

I Just chuckled a little because at first glance it would be great in a Genn deck but alas…. three mana.
This is a discount Auctionmaster Beardo. Can’t Exodia Paladin with it. Don’t think this is better than Spider Tank, or the new Amalgam Nightmare. Still OK in Arena. 2 out of 5 stars.
That comment raises several questions.
1. Do you understand that 3 mana is less than 4? Auctionmaster beardo does not have an instant effect on the board.
2. Do you realize that this is spider tank, except with a battlecry? It’s strictly better in standard no matter how you look at it.
3. There is already a ton of other hero power support coming out this expansion, are you going to ignore that?

3. Here you are right. Even one hero power refreshment can be strong. I’m thinking Baku Hunter, or Quest Warrior’s Hero Power. It was my initial consideration, and I thought they printed this to replace Beardo, which it can’t. But offers other cool stuff.
I change my assessment from 2 to 3.5 stars.

Remember, if you drop Blackwald Pixie on turn 3, it’s just a 3/4 body.
Spider Tank is a Mech though and about the only time you’d use Spider Tank would be in a Mech deck with cards like Cogmaster or Tinkertown Technician – so I’d say it was about on a par.
I thought Amalgam Nightmare could be a power creep to Spider Tank, but then there are those rare cases where you appreciate not being eaten by a crab. So there is still some use for Spider Tank! 🙂
This just might make exodia paladin meta deck
It’s too expensive, I’m afraid. You can play 2 Hero Powers max without some sort of discount.
Yeah, no exodia, but if you can get taunts up or otherwise control the board (Rebuke could help versus removal, too) you can still speed up the Apocalypse. Don’t think it’s going to be a very strong deck but it’s an improvement for Control Paladin.
You can even bounce or copy the Pixie to keep the 2-horseman turns rolling and hope they run dry.
Yeah too slow for Uther. But with Beardo cycling out, will there be a new way to get all four horsemen in one turn? I suppose if you can find a way to keep two alive and then this for the final two? Have to see if the deck gets any more tools.
