This card seems fine to me. But the biggest problem about Auctioneer Jaxon is that you need at least 3 cards that are tradeable, that you also want to trade away, so that way you can get the cards that you want with efficiency. So we are really looking at a “5 Mana” 2/3, that will replace your 3 tradeable cards for 3 cards that you prefer to have.

and all of that feels rather clunky, which I’m not exactly the biggest fan of. This card is great for Control, don’t get me wrong, but that’s all the value I think that you bring for Jaxon. 3 Stars.

Turns every Tradeable card into Tracking. I like it.

If we see some more good Tradeable cards and Tradeable synergy, this could be a really good flexible option.

Yeah, I was wrong. She’d need to be a permanent battlecry effect to actually be even slightly useful, along with a solid stock of Tradeable cards.

This card only makes sense if you have a shit ton of tradable cards in your deck, and even then its effect isn’t extremely powerful and quite boring honestly. Feels like a worse version of Sphere of Sapience.

1.5/5, might see some fringe play in some combo decks here and there but overall pretty underwhelming

Perfect for finding answers hidden inside your deck, or high value cards in mid-late game such as in clown druid etc.

Auto include in deck with some tradeable, probably best card from expansion from now, first insta craft. Really strong card, and u even discover card from ur deck, its like zephrys, but u need 1 mana for wish, so good

Might be going a bit far.. how many playable tradable cards there are is a big limiting factor for this card. Ideally you want lots of cheap ones like overdraft, a good amount of the tradeable cards we’ve seen so far are 3-5 mana so even mid game you might only get this effect off once and even then you’d need to be playing a good amount of tradable cards in deck for consistency and at that point it’s not worth it unless all the tradeable cards are worth it in their own right.

While I agree they might be overstating the power of this card, I think you might be mistaken on the way tradable works. The original mana cost of the card doesn’t matter trading it will always only cost one mana also you’ll be trading away cards you wouldn’t be playing this turn anyway so their mana cost is irrelevant.

None of these conditional sort of cards have worked so I don’t see this working either. Reminds me of the Uldum card that trigged of discover cards and frankly I feel like that would’ve been live more often unless you are playing literally every tradeable.

Which Uldum card do you mean? Dwarven Archeologist?

That card was actually really really good when combined with Instructor Fireheart. I once chained together about 20 spells in one turn thanks to a couple Archeologists.

It’s okay. It’s a 2 mana 2/3 with some upside. Discovering is a lot better than drawing, just depends how many playable tradeable cards there are, I imagine you’d need quite a lot like 6-8 to make this worth playing

Likely only getting the effect off once, but pretty nice nonetheless for decks in need of some consistency. 3/5
