The fact that The Lich king is a 8-8 Taunt that gives you a Death Knight card Every turn makes it har for me to see How this is Good when It’s a 2-2 for 4 and it takes an extra to get the card! Alsow you never get more then one! If this is strong then Lich King is INCANE, like better then Dr 7 but i don’t think he is!

As some have pointed out, is definitely a great card for Build a Beast. On its own, it has high variance, but all the cards it pulls are good enough that you might just use it anyways. Plus, with all the deathrattle synergy running around, I’m sure this card will see its fair share of play. It’s a question for sure if there’s too much variance here (The Lich King is an okay statline and then the card draw just makes it crazy, but this card has a very poor statline with the promise of making it up in the card you draw) and if the card itself is so weak that you won’t want to gamble on it. I still think it’ll slot into some decks, but definitely not as insane as some people say it is. Though getting some of these cards super early on IS pretty appealing.

I like this card. It has deathrattle synergy, beast synergy and gives a random powerful card. The only problem is that quite a few of these cards can be difficult to use.

Another issue is this is a 4 mana 2/2. You’re giving up a lot of tempo to draw a card once it dies, which could be good if the metagame ends up being so slow the first 4 turns aren’t worried about.
Additionally, Poluted Hoarder, while never really seeing play, could trade up into other 4 and 5 drops if it lived to the next turn. This has a hard time trading into some 1 or 2 drops.

I think people are overrating this card, you pay like 2.5 mana for the deathrattle wich is a random card. Yes powerfull cards, but random, and if you add that 2.5 mana to the card it gives, then for example Death and Decay would be like 5.5 mana, 1.5 mana more expansive than hellfire. (except you dont damage yourself)
Although you pay the cost over 2 turns, kind of like Glyph, I still think their are better plays for turn 4. Doing Glyph on turn 2 aint great either, since you kind of do nothing. Playing a 2-2 on turn 4 is kind of the same.

You’re better off playing Twilight Summoner as a neutral four-drop Deathrattle since you know you can use the 5/5 it summons. That’s not even mentioning the class four-drop Deathrattles like Shifting Shade Corpse Flower, and Infested Wolf.

This is why you play the “remove 1-mana spells” card

This could see play in a heavy control deck.
But besides that, he is the goodest boy!

If this is real, it means some interesting shenanigans.

If you look on The Lich King, it’s not the new hero death knights but entirely different cards….but still crazy shenanigans. First: under four so I think it can be discovered as part of new Rexxars ability and it works with new Valeera’s. Not to mention deathrattle discoveries (journey below, shallow gravedigger, etc.) so really interesting stuff could be pulled with this

Holy crap I didn’t think about the possibility of the new Hunter hero using this in their conglomerations. That sounds even better.

This would probably be a decent choice for Create A Zombeast, but I don’t think spending 8 mana on playing two 2/2s that may draw you a good card come turn 10 or later is a way to use the rouge hero card’s hero ability and not die the turn after since you pretty much skipped your turn.

In the end, this is a four mana 2/2. The other four mana 2/2s currently in the game, Evolved Kobold, Keeper of the Grove, and Twilight Summoner are all at most not very good. I have a feeling this will fall into that category.
