Did you get it? And to be fair, if you wanted to dust this… getting a gold one would be worth 1600 dust instead of 400… so it might not be too bad?

I can see this used more in a control deck than a pirate deck. This lets you draw specific utility pirates like the one that steals a weapon, etc.. while being decent early game anti-aggro. Will rate after we see more pirates.

Ooh my pirate deck can, oh wait we’re not in Gadgetzan anymore. Terrible legendary, not even vanilla weapon stats, drawing a pirate isn’t even enough for legendary. Unless they have a pirate themed expansion next year, I don’t see it. Worst card this expansion perhaps, although this expansion’s cards have been pretty overpowered so that’s not saying much. 3/10

So considering this year is about dragons there’s only 2 possible reasons to add this card. Either it’s to throw a bone to wild or it’s a setup for pirates appearing next year.

    “He’s in Charge now!”
But overall I think this has to do with what Blizzard is aiming for next. So I’m expecting Hearthstone to start giving Warrior some Pirate after the DoD Expansion. And being able to draw a pirate per swing is honestly really nice, it’s just that obviously we don’t have enough tools for it just yet. As it stands right now, it’s 2 stars, but moving on words it can go up to 4 stars in my knowledge.

    Warrior and Pirates.
there isn’t a single Pirate Cards for Warrior on standard.
Is this a meme card? I don’t think so. It’s Legendary.
    1/5. Auto dust.

As it stands, you can get bloodsail raider, captain greenskin, dread corsair, southsea deckhand, sharkfin fan and ticket scalper, the first few of which just work well even with no pirate synergy (Just weapon synergy). Also, blizz is likely to reveal more pirates for warriors in the future. As it stands, it is pretty good man.

Neat card, for the future and for the past. But the current meta will be all about dem dragons!

This card is supreme, a 2/3 weapon is decent, but drawing 3 cards on top of a 2/3 is insane.
This card is of the charts, even though it looks innocent.
The next turn you play a 2 mana 4/3, than buff this weapon with greenskin turn 5.
I am happy it is legendary, because this way it is only like a single copy as was lunas pocket galaxy.

Unpopular opinion – this card doesn’t suck too much. Presumably, there would eventually be some pirate support in this expansion or in the near future for the card, but as is, it is a decent bodied weapon which can be a draw 3 synergising cards. That seems pretty good. As it stands, you can get bloodsail raider, captain greenskin, dread corsair, southsea deckhand, sharkfin fan and ticket scalper, the first few of which just work well even with no pirate synergy (Just weapon synergy). Quest warrior isn’t a thing, but I think this gives warrior the steam to make an aggro-ish quest deck. 3/5 so far, but it should eventually evolve into a 4.5/5 assuming pirate support exists.

Also quick note – at the time of posting this, the official dragons website shows a pirate-like card going to be revealed. Since it is a kobold, it likely will be for rogue, but on the off chance it is warrior wecould have something on our hands

It is actually a bit more likely than u think since rogue only has 2 cards left that are yet to be revealed while Warrior still has about 4-5 or more cards left, not only that but warrior has had a kobold or 2 in the past

    …Why is this a Warrior card…?

Wait… Next year will probably be a pirate meta…

I really hope not.. Pirates are 100% aggro based and that just creates boring metas usually. Unless they really reinvent the pirates to be flexible in terms of archetypes it will be ugh for the most part.

As a side note, I used Grand Archivist Elysiana as my avatar first so you should probably change it >:c No offense or anything just confusing

I just want to remind you of galakrond and his +3 attack for warrior. It basically is already shaped up as an aggro meta. Just depends how fast the other decks are or how good the healing works.
