I’m very glad that Hearthstone Team decided to put Akama (and the “drainei-broken-lost ones” concept) from WCIII on this Expansion Set.
Dies to Rotnest Drake
Dies to a lot of cards but it still puts a threat on board that needs to be dealt with by unconventional removals.
I like how everyone acts like rogue can’t play 6 drops when Galakrond Rogue exists and:
A.) Can just play it for free, or
B.) Is happy to play it alongside other free things.
The 3/4 is going to be good for that deck early on because it sticks on board, and then it adds value later on when it’s done trading. I think the 3/4 alone is worth putting in decks, and the 6/5 is just nice to have if it doesn’t get AoE’d off the board.
This is not a card for aggro decks; I don’t think we should be pushing that narrative.
Card is a 4/5. Gally Rogue isn’t leaving the meta and wants this.
So hope for early akama, trigger deathrattle, stowaway akama prime, cold blood x2 and/or faceless? Yikes potential…
We’ve seen an almost permanently stealthed minion in the lotus assassin. The main difference here is that this can go face again and again instead of being restricted to attacking minions to preserve the stealth. That was powerful it’s not a “prime” … you can just play it..
This wants to be played in an aggro deck where it basically reads “do 6 damage a turn” but it may be too slow for that. We’ll see if it can be made to work.. rogue does have the advantage of stowaway to pull cards added to your deck ..
Nice looking card but unless rogue can cheat it out finding a chance to play it is tricky 6 Mana is a lot for no immediate return.
But this may actually see play due to one detail. The current galakrond rogue runs heistbarron and will typically grab the draw 3 make them 0 cost as well as the galakrond can draw 4. So you could potentially pull out the perma stealth minion for 0 Mana.
great analysis!
this card will see play in galak rogue ,maybe replace for jenkins as a slower finisher?
they have that card that draws minions that didn’t start in your deck so wouldn’t be hard to get this as soon as its in deck
That still wouldn’t effect the cost which is the main issue of the buffed card 6 Mana with no immediate impact is a lot.
Very very good definitely 5 star card right here
very slow minions, while Rogue is aggro.
I think it doesn’t fit very much in this meta.
waiting for reviews.
I don’t think this is going to work that well. First of I like how we have a really well stated minion with stealth, that’s pretty cool and a permeantly stealth which is something I have all ways wanted.
But I think this is going to have the same effect that Waxadred had. It sounds great on paper but it’s going to be too slow to use and especially to slow for rouge. It’s 2 minions that do nothing when played except possibly scaring your opponent
I want to rate it a 3/5 but I have to go with 4/5 because perment stealth is too cool
insane
