Now that I know what this card does, I can finally review it!
2/1 stats are good for a 1-mana minion, but it’s usually not enough by itself to see play. Adding a fair amount of value on top makes all the difference here, as Fire Fly amply demonstrated.
Considering this is also a great fit for Token Druid, I expect this card to see a lot of use in competitive play. 5/5

This is exactly what Aggro Token Druid wanted to see. Is a +1 to your hand size for Hand Druid, too. A+!
Debating if this card is better or worse than fire fly. I guess we’ll have to see. But If I’m comparing a card to fire fly, chances are it’s 5/5
With CRYSTALSONG PORTAL and this card, Aggro Druid is a thing.
I like the idea of Acorn. At first I was thinking of this card as a way for some sort of way for Token Druid, but Honestly I think it’s good for any druid. The 1 Mana 2/1 “Deathrattle: put 2 1/1 s in your hand for a Turn 2 is good. You can even use the Squirrels for later. If we had some sort of Beast Synergy with the Squirrels then this would be a very important card for Beast Druid. Something like “If your played a beast for last turn” or “If a Beast is in your Hand/on the Board”, Etc.
If the squirrels were summoned instead of going to hand, it would be busted. Still, very welcome reload for Token Druid.
OTOH, “wot no Treants?” (i.e. last few expansions have been pushing Treants and now we get squirrels?)

I think that everyone assumes that they cost 1 mana. It would be really weird if they costed more.
One mana draw 2 is good. Maybe fits into TokenDruid. 4/5
The artwork looks so bad because we had to scale it up from a low quality small image. But we’ve probably blurred it out too much anyway lol. We’ll add a higher quality one once Blizzard releases it.

I totally agree with you. I see this in the wild token druids decks. I see this in treat decks. Buf decks. It is just flexible. And more importantly squirrels. This card is nuts 😀
DO you know what would be bette rif this was dearthrattle: choose one add 2x 1/1 squirrels or add 2x nuts to your hand that are just deal one dmg spells FOR 0 MANA, just joking make them 1 mana we do not want a mally turn with 4 nuts and 2 moonfires.
You could say that at 0 mana they would be… nuts.
