It’s time to take a look at the best decks to ladder with in August 2016 (Season 29). The meta will be looking to be shaken up soon with the arrival of One Night in Karazhan on August 11th, but until then we’ll likely be seeing some of the usual suspects haunting the ladder. Here’s a list of the most recent decks that can take you to Legend!

Best Hearthstone Ladder Decks for August 2016 (Season 29, Standard)
I’ve listed the best decks for each class, it doesn’t mean that the deck is going to kill it on the ladder, but that it is likely the best for the class. A class like Priest at the moment is bottom tier, so while you’ll be playing with Priest’s best deck it doesn’t mean it you will be able to climb reliably.
Best Druid Decks
Yogg Druid can still blow people out with huge Token buffing power, or it can come back from dire situations with Yogg-Saron.
Best Hunter Decks
Midrange Hunter isn’t great in a lot of matchups, but it does very well against Warrior which is the most popular class on the ladder.
Best Mage Decks
Mage is a mid-tier class at the moment, Tempo Mage is likely your best option unless you’re a killer Freeze Mage player.

One of the hardest decks to play in the game, and isn’t going to do too well on the ladder at the moment with the popularity of Warrior.
Best Paladin Decks
Unfortunately not the best of decks at the moment, but Kolento’s version is a bit more skewed to deal with the ladder.
An aggressive Paladin list that can snowball into a victory with strong early game minions.
Secret Paladin is a sneaky good deck in Standard still, but it doesn’t see a ton of play on the ladder.
Best Priest Decks
If you’re desperate for Priest play then N’Zoth Priest might be just about your only option.
Best Rogue Decks

Miracle Rogue remains as Rogue’s best option for climbing the ladder.
Best Shaman Decks
TicTac finished the Season at #1 Legend with Aggro Shaman. Eloise also posted a link to a Chinese player’s Aggro Shaman that finished #1 on the NA server.
Midrange Shaman is a solid well-rounded deck, but Aggro Shaman is generally more popular.
Best Warlock Decks

The continual pillar of aggressive board control decks maintains its spot as Warlock’s best deck.
Best Warrior Decks
Warrior is the class to beat currently, it literally has a powerful deck in every archetype. SilentStorm used this C’Thun Warrior to finish top 25 Legend.
Dragon Warrior has largely replaced Tempo Warrior as the best Warrior deck on the ladder.
