Patch 30.2 drops tomorrow with a new season of Battlegrounds. It’s a massive update with lots of new, returning and changed cards. There’s also a brand new mechanic called Trinkets, letting
Battlegrounds content creators got early access to the fresh seasonal content. They will be playtesting the new patch today starting at 9 AM PT (18:00 CET).
If you’re interested, most of them will stream it on Twitch – just tune in to your favorite content creator and see if they participate!
Patch 30.2 & Battlegrounds Season 8 should be out for everyone tomorrow (August 20) at 10 AM PT (19:00 CET).
Battlegrounds Preview Event
On August 19, the day before Patch 30.2 launches, watch your favorite content creators try out Trinkets live! Participating players will be streaming on their own channels, so make sure you have notifications turned on. Time slots by region are:
- APAC region: August 19, 2:00 a.m. – 8:00a.m. (PDT)
- NA, LATAM, and EMEA regions: August 19, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (PDT)
