Balance Patch Was Supposed To Come Out This Week, But It’s Delayed Until 20.0 (Expansion Patch)

Game Designer Alec Dawson just shared some interesting information on Tweeter. Originally, we were supposed to get a small balance patch this week, but they ran into some issues. Since Patch 20.0 will be the largest patch in the history (Barrens expansion, Core Set, Classic format) and they want to make it smooth, balance patch was postponed until 20.0. The patch was originally supposed to tackle the “burst damage” problem – most likely related to Aggro Rogue’s ability to ignore the opponent’s strategy and burst him down by Turn 5-6.

In other words, we won’t get any balance updates in this meta, and the upcoming Masters Tour Ironforge will be played on the current patch.

Wait, if the patch goes out soon (including FitB expansion), does that mean the patch includes all the cards from the expansion and could get datamined allowing leaks before the reveal schedule?
    What are they thinking?
