If you haven’t noticed yet, the reveal season for Ashes of Outland starts very soon. To be more precise, roughly 9 hours from when I’m writing this. Yes, it was very unexpected – most of the time, reveal season starts 2-3 weeks after the expansion’s announcement. Even though Ashes of Outland was revealed quite later than we expected, having a reveal season starting right away is still unprecedent.
Interestingly enough, the reveal season ends quite quickly too. It will only go for a week, finishing next Wednesday (March 25). We expect to see the final reveal stream around that time (Wednesday-Thursday). There will be almost 2 weeks between the final card reveal and expansion’s launch. In the meantime, we’ll get more stuff like Priest update and Hall of Fame rotation (March 26), as well as Demon Hunter’s Prologue (April 2), but the downtime still seems a bit too long.
Here’s the full reveal chart. Keep in mind, though, that it’s in my local time (CET). If you want to see the chart converted to your own time zone, click here!
Wow, every time I check the site, something new is posted. Thank you for working the crazy hours to bring us the updates as they happen. (please fix the first date in the graphic as it should be 18th)
Let’s just say that it was a long, long day 🙂
“Mar 1” is what I’m seeing on the official reveal schedule, but it’s obviously wrong. March 18 might make sense, but they might also have meant March 19 for example. We’ll see if they fix it tomorrow.
