Another Legendary Hearthstone Quest Released – “Scene of a Murder” – Get A Free Castle Nathria Pack

Last week, players received a new Legendary quest called “A Taste of Anima” that asked them to play 5 Infuse cards to receive a Castle Nathria pack. Many thought that it’s just one-off Quest for some extra rewards, but it turns out that it might be a longer chain.

Today we got another Quest – this time to play 3 Location cards. It also gives a Castle Nathria pack. Just like the previous one, it’s incredibly easy to finish, so it’s basically another free pack.

What’s weird is that Blizzard still didn’t say anything about it, there’s no event tied to it etc. Of course, I don’t mind, and I hope that we will receive those extra Quests more often.

Update: It looks like it’s the last quest in the “mini-chain”. DeckTech communicated this last week on Twitter, but I must have missed it. It’s sad that we won’t get more, but good to know.

Thanks for the clarification. Getting extra quests is nice. Not having a clue what’s going on isn’t.

Blizzard seems interesgtingly generous these days. Twice the amount of free drops from Gardmasters, essentially free packs just from nowhere – I wonder what happened… Did those player statistics became that bad?…

According to the latest ActiBlizzard financial report, Hearthstone has actually grown year over year. So while it’s definitely not as popular as during its heyday, I don’t think that the situation is dire at all.

Is this supposed to replace any solo content; a quest once per week to with no warning to give the feel of a mystery? I wouldn’t mind since I’ve only opened about 12 packs.
