Android Crash Fix for Patch 16.4 Issues Is Out Now!

Ever since the last patch, Android users on certain devices had lots of trouble playing the game (read: couldn’t play at all). It seems that the issues are finally fixed – a new update went out and you should already be able to download it. While I can’t test it myself because the game was working fine on my phone, the responses so far were positive. So I hope that it will fix your problems too!

There has been an update pushed for Google Play installations. This can take some time to appear, but you should see an update to Version 16.4.42888.

For everyone on Android devices or ChromeOS, please try updating the game and let us know if the freezing or crashing persists.

Update: It seems that the problem still exists on some phones/tablets. If you’re experiencing crashes/infinite loops, be sure to let Blizzard know on the official forums (and include name of the Android device you’re using).

Appreciate your reports on this! We’ll be monitoring this thread in case of any persisting issues, but glad to hear so far it’s been good 🙂 If you are still experiencing the issue, please check on the version, some of you may run into a problem with the update being delayed for it to propagate. Amazon should have the update pushed now as well!
