Mulligans

General Mulligans

I like playing "Candleshot" and "Jeweled Macaw" by the end of the second round. However, if they don't mulligan, all of these cards are great to have early. I usually don't hold out long for stampede. If it shows up in a mulligan and you have two 1-cost beasts in your hand in the third round (or second if you hold the coin), play them. Again, this is meant to be a very quick strategy, so even if you only get two extra beasts in your hand, it usually means you are in great shape.

Here is a Baku Hunter deck I have been playing with over the past week or so. I will write more about this in the coming weeks, but at the moment, I think a short paragraph here will suffice. The basic strategy behind this deck is getting cheap minions out on the board quickly to support the upgraded hero power. Immunity weapons were added to help the hunter control the board while he quickly takes down the opposition with his arrows. All other abilities are about pulling cards, increasing hero ability power, taking down enemy minions quickly, and weapons intensification. “Dollmaster Dorian” was added as a curiosity. In other words, I am not entirely sure if he is suited to this deck yet. However, with quick pull cards like “Stampede” and “Starving Buzzard,” it is bound to help out in many situations.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions concerning this deck, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Are there any cards you don’t see here that you think are indispensable to this strategy? Go ahead and let me know.
