(Theorycraft) Ebonsmith Recruit Paladin

With cards like Steward of Darkshire, Stand against darkness, and Rallying blade going into wild altogether, things are looking a bit hard for the current meta breaker. The only recruit-generating cards left in standard are, if you exclude the inconsistent Unidentified Maul, Lost in the Jungle, Drygulch Jailor, and Vinecleaver. if we want to keep playing recruit paladin, we need to utilize Vinecleaver a lot. the problem? it’s too slow. solution? use the only weapon discount card in standard, aka Ebon Dragonsmith. this is quite nice, bc 1. You could make awesome tempo plays. T4 Ebonsmith into T5 Vinecleaver is downright OP. 2. it’s a dragon. i’m not a professional deck builder, so my list needs some refinement. im sure that some dragon-synergy cards could ‘wurm’ their way in after this deck is widely used and refined. 3. Synergy with silver sword. silver sword, once equipped, can be a very effective and destructive weapon. the problem is that we need to pay a whopping amount of 8 mana to equip it. solution? bring it down to 6. it becomes a whole lot more playable.

Potential includes: Captain Greenskin, Genn Graymane(with the exclusion of all odd-cost cards). come to think of it, Even Dragon Weapon Recruit paladin, as ‘odd’ as it sounds, could actually be a thing!
