General Mulligans
8 cards that you can keep against any matchup (because let's face it, like it or not, your facing aggro.)
This deck draws it strength from anti aggro capabilities, (that's not to say rng can't screw you and put both voidlords in your start hand) and has plenty of good things to mulligan for!
So, I was scrolling throughout the meta decks, and found that control warlock (Not cubelock) was mearly an honorable mention. I believe that control lock has potential as a tier two meta deck, and a friend and I worked together to make this warlock control deck that brought us both to rank 5! (I imagine it would work past this point, I just don’t thing the reward is worth the extra work it would take to push another 15-20 games)
The deck is straightforward to play, step 1: Mulligan for anti aggro and possed lackey
Step 2: Try to skillfully time hellfire and defile to live past turn 4 or 5
Step 3: Lackey into a turn 5 or 6 voidlord
Step 4: Use healing and other control tools to live through turn 8
Step 5: EZ game EZ life, twisting nether and voidlord till you play guldan or N’zoth and every decent aggro player concedes
P.S. Life tap is your friend, you need it to survive and I would life tap if your out of options and/or just cleared the board and or want to find your finishers once your comfortable
