Mulligans

General Mulligans

Dirty Rat and Gnomeferatu are intended to be used to break the opponent's deck; we don't want them in the mulligan.

Treachery has to be used with doomsayer for an instant board clear.

I prefer to not include Defile and spell damage minions because this deck has tons of AOE and board clears.

High cost control warlock.

You have to play it like a handlock: wait until turn 4 and then go with giants, twilight drakes and shamblers.

Bloodreaver Gul’Dan and the demons replace Lord Jaraxxus in the lategame.

    Why Treachery?

No defile? Why drain life instead of drain soul? I think maybe toss in a Gluttonous Ooze and Spell Breaker and you’re good to go.

I think that Defile with no spell damage minions is not so good; from turn 4 onwards there are big minions, Hellfires, Abyssal Enforcers and strong board clears to kill low health enemies.
Gluttonous Ooze should be a nice tech card, but I’m not in trouble with aggro/pirate warriors at the moment.
      Give it a try!

I really love this deck, just released my own variation on the list. I think after nerfs, ooze might not be as good. Spellbreaker has won me so many games. I think by the time you can Hellfire, Defile might just clear anyway. I think Bloodbloom is awesome in this deck. One shadowbolt might be important. Looks good though. You can check out my list if you want.
