Gluttenous Ooze should be fine. The matchups in wich you need to remove weapons arent’t neccesarily the ones where you need card advantage.
Also vs pirate, an earlier weapon removal is way better imo
If you face paladins and burn mages mostly, you should run Harrison(trion and medıvh). For PW ooze is better.
