How does this win against pirate warrior?
Very good deck, around 70% winrate, I play 2 Sorcerers for even more tempo and Mana Bind instead of Ice Block. It just about making and protecting your board and then finish with burn and you crush Quest rogue and Silence priest hard, because they are combo decks and your disruption with secrets makes their deck do nothing.
So many people say this deck is bad but yall all seem to be low skill players if you cant get wins with this deck. This is a tempo variant of what the old tempo mage was you use power plays to get an advantage over your opponent and we all know mage secrets are really strong but you have to play your secret meaning you need enough game knowledge to be able to play the secrets properly. Already got legend playing this deck and I don’t even play mage I play paladin and rogue. Just think about your lines of play and realize that if yall think the deck is bad and unplayable this guy just got an early legend(which is the hardest legend type to get) and yall are still potato-ing at rank 20..
bad deck in this hyper meta, to many times your hands consists of unplayable cards or you end up with secrets you can’t play…

The meta populated with murloc pallies, obviously.
This deck is good against priests and stuff but he was right about it being useless against the aggro meta.

Lost to Priest, lost to Druid – how this deck can win?? Lack of cards at turn 7-8. No late game…
just simply relying on good opening hand and ability to predict/counterspell board clears and removals.
It worked for me all the way up to rank 5 last season but after that, it was almost impossible to get consecutive wins.
