Yeah, my version exchanges the defender, one song stealer, and both acolytes for one pain, one Lyra, one circle, and an extra inner fire. Made those changes to tech a bit more against aggro/tempo decks I was facing and found it to be more consistent with curve/sustainable card draw.
this deck is cool and all, but anyone else think onyx bishop is a better fit than barnes? if u barnes into something u still need to silence it but at least onyx bishop gets u that minion back at full life. I’d be interested in testing that with injured blademasters + bittertide hydra.
Onyx Bishop is much slower, has worse stats for cost, and runs a high risk of being dead in hand when you’re playing with Ancient Watcher and Humongous Razorleaf.
Barnes is better. If you draw bishop on curve and you don’t have anything to bring back its basically useless Barnes is decent almost all the time unless your out of minions in the deck.

Absolutely switch Barnes with Lyra, she save my ass many many times!
Nice Deck, but I would prefer lyra in it as well, auctioneering can be quite game defining.

What is the point of Barnes?
He brings out razorleaf and watcher so that you can silence them. They wont be 1/1s anymore and go to original stats.
Mirage Caller i think is much better, guarantees copy if you have board control
