Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm molten giant?
One thing I’m confused about. In tournaments, aren’t decklists revealed? So wouldn’t it ruin the mechanic?
no, not to the players they usually have an idea of what the persons deck will be but they are not revealed and that is the point of this card to sorta counter net decking a tiny bit
card’s pretty good. the thing is, this card’s competing the 3 drop minion slot with kabal talonpriest. kabal talonpriest’s quite a staple right now in priest decks. not sure if this card’s good enough to replace or be played alongside it
I like the idea of this in Burgle Priest with just stealing or using cards your opponents cards and Basically being a Rogue but with heals.
*Priest becomes meta*
*Plays a meme deck to counter this card*
#Profit
Oh right boys seems like my Magma rager finally became viable
Since the list of priest three drops starts and ends with talonpriest, it is a welcome card, even if not op.
The real function is to see opponent’s hand.
I think you didn’t understand the card. It shows yopponent ou three random cards that could be in your opponent’s decklist. One of them IS in your opponent’s decklist. If you figure out which one it is, it adds the card to your hand.
Yes. I also expect it to work this way
After you pick, you know what one card IS in their deck,
and you know two cards that are NOT in their deck.
Sometimes good intel, but certainly not OP.
I don’t even use mine as it weakens the synergy.
Comparing it to Thoughtsteal:
Playing this card is much better than Thoughtsteal against Aggro decks as it comes with a body.
Playing Thoughsteal is much better than this card against Control as you can get 2 powerful cards from your opponents slow deck.
This Card=Best against Fast Decks.
Thoughsteal=Best against Slow Decks.
Lul prist op
Lul prist not op noob
Isn’t Thoughtsteal just better than this card’s effect? You have to guess which card was in the deck, which is not difficult but not always guaranteed. To me, this is basically just a 90% chance to get a random card from your opponents deck.
The only upsides I can think of is being able to get a card that has already been drawn or confirming that the other two cards are not in your opponents deck. But with so many possibilities, these seem very minor.
….well you get a 3/3 for 3 Mana (1 Point under Vanillla) and get a 90% Chance to draw a card…
thats good… you influence the board when you play it not like thoughtsteal.
its not a powerful card but in my oppinion better than thoughtsteal in many decks.
Do you know their is no Vanilla 3mana 3/4 minion ? :p
spider tank
It’s thoughtsteal minus 1 card plus a 3-3
You get to choose your answer from 3 options, while only 1 of them being an actual card in their deck. Guess right -> you get a copy of the card + information that your opponent has such a card and doesn’t have the other 2 of the choices. Guess wrong -> you know your opponent doesn’t have the card you chose and they have only 1 of the other 2 options. Knowledge is power so the information can be extremely valuable.
Good point…. I thought it was trash, but as you said, information about your opponent is extremey valuable.
thoughtsteal sacrifices tempo for card advantage since you’re spending a turn to gain 2 card and thus net a card. this card puts a 3/3 on board and thus does not sacrifice tempo as much as thoughtsteal in order to net a card
This card looks pretty decent, cool mechanic.
