This can be a good card. One of the powers of tutors is allowing you to run single copies of broken situational cards. Here now we can copy them giving you the response you need at any time (and on top opening free slots in your deck). Just imagine playing 2 of this and 3 single broken/utility spells. Demonic tutor that doesn’t “draw” the spell and leave it there waiting to be copied again or draw it… Sure it costs 2 mana extra, but the flexibility is broken.

This card is very versatile.you can have 3 dark words death in a control game, 3 pain or holy in aggressive games or midrange. Priest control received a help

this is probably the closest thing to a tutor card hearthstone’s gonna get. for those who don’t know what tutor is, it’s a term from magic the gathering where you search your deck for a card and put that card into your hand. tutor cards are known to be quite broken, especially at low mana cost, and many have been banned from tournament play.

Imagine comboing this with Elise. At least I hope the pack is considered to be a spell.

    Huh Can u copy quest?

All the quest cards start in your opening hand so it would not work with quests. BUT!!!!!! If you muligan the quest away and have it as the only spell or one of few spells in your deck you can make copies of it so you can pull it off multiple times. So for priests you can have multiple Renos in your deck by doing this. But you can only have one quest going on at a time. This could be something fun to do with using only Deathrattle Creatures and then two Shadow Visions then your muliganed quest and one or two other spells in your deck since Shadow Visions is “Discover a spell in you deck.

To be honest, this card is nice with things like draknoid, and nzoth. Its kinda good, even if it is a tempo loss.

Probably because it would be way too OP and broken in a class wit has much burst damage as mage. Imagine a freeze mage with 4 fireballs or 3 pyroblasts. For a priest you’d just see 4 dragonfire potions, maybe a 4 mindblast with Velen [granted emperor is out so the otk combos aren’t as possible]. I personally think the scariest would be priest adding more potion of madness, shadow word madness, mindcontrol and just keep stealing my board

I don’t really see why people are hyped about this card… Pay 2 mana extra for a spell?
Yaaay, I can have a 5 mana shadow word:death yaaay.
I get it that you get an extra copy, and you can choose the spell for the situation, but 2 mana is a huge tempo loss.

the ability to tutor an answer or a threat is extremely powerful due to its huge flexibility. say you have this card in your hand. if your opponent plays a big minion, you can try to find a shadow word death with this card to deal with it. however, if your opponent plays a small minion, you can find a shadow word pain with this card to deal with that. And if you’re behind on on board, you can try to find a board wipe with this card and wipe the board. And if you’re equal on board, you can try to find a big threat with this card to threaten your opponent’s life total.

Two Shadow Visions, new and/or old Elise, Yogg Saron, one or two other spells, a ton of minions. Add in the new Quest and a bunch of deathrattles plus N’Zoth for extra meme-age. Can’t wait to see the new meme Priest in action :3

Discover prevents you from having duplicates in the pick-from-three, so having three other spells guarantees the three will be available unless already drawn. I’m curious to see what will happen if you DON’T have three in your deck.

Combo Priest could be brought back with this card, as it allows you to more reliably seek out your combo pieces or to find some answers against aggro.

Discover a COPY. God damn it, Blizzard. If you keep overcompensating this class for being underwhelming in the past, you’ll end up creating an overpowered monster. And the true problem will remain: the game is not balanced at all between classes.

IDK, This card seems like garbage. Priest really needs a good turn two play and this is certainly not it.

It’s not meant to be a turn 2 play. It’s meant to be an “oh crap, that rogue just played a 10/10 Edwin. Where the hell is my Shadow Word: Death spell?” play.

Oh look… demonic tutor for hearthstone. How fun and original…no abuse potential either.

I’m sure people will only use it to do fair things and not make 30/30 hasted minions or “reverse heal” for 30 in one turn.
