After playing this card (and getting healed to 40), the max health is 40 or is still 30?

This card is going to suck, Reno already does what this card does.. OTK decks still can generate 40 dmg plus. It’s not that good the warlocks one is so much better.

Please tell me which otk deck outputs 40 plus damage without thaurissan, power overwhelming, or aviana. standard will have literally zero viable otk combo’s let alone 40 damage combos.

Well now that the set is out, Mage can produce infinite damage otk. Or maybe not infinite since you have a finite amount of time.

You are clearly not thinking this through, as Reno cycles out when this set comes into play..

Really love the new Quest Mechanic idea. Really fits the expansion theme and also adds a new aspect to the Standard game mode. Not sure how good this card is going to be, seeing it would take a lot of sequencing to get 7 deathrattles and also draw the Quest card and THEN play Amara but seems like an awesome design and can be very good.

Here’s a random thought: would having a health pool of 40 make Molten Giant at all viable again?

Molten giant’s cost reduces depending on HOW LITTLE your hp is, not how high. Otherwise you can play it turn 1 if you have it at the start of your turn. So no it does not make it viable. Could you play it before using Amara? Definitely, if you can.

It costs less based on how much hp you are missing, so if Amara gives you 40 max then Molten Giant would be free at 15 hp as opposed to 5. Still impractical though, but an interesting thought.

To be fair, having amara makes it so you can drop Molten Giant at 15 instead of 5 (for 0 mana)

Shame. Would have been decent on curve. Play turn 5 dies to Flanewreath Faceless. Prolly still lose but at least the health reset would give you a chance.

Wow set health to 40 not gain 10 so if I am a 1 health I will go up to 40. Well played 🙂

I didn’t realize until now that it “healed” you up to 40. That’s pretty sweet!

also elise looked too good initially, now she’s played only in controll warrior. I think that card he’s good if are coming more deathrattle cards (good ones i mean); if they do, yes, it’s op.

But preist doeant need that much healing, and in the late game, it’a arguably countered by hard removal
