We’re getting deeper into the expansion, and some of the best decks from Mean Streets of Gadgetzan are starting to show themselves. It’s still very early in the process, so some of these decks might not stand the test of time, but it’s always fun to get a look at what is doing well on the ladder. Keep in mind that throughout the season many decks will hit rank 1 legend, which is why you will see many of these decks said to have gotten there.
Here’s a list of decks that have reached legend, and some that have even hit the top of the legend ranks!

I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
Is it just me or does Paladin suck big time?
Nah
It didn’t get much help from this expansion but I’ve been playing an anyfin can happen murloc deck and the Paladin AOE and Aldor Peacekeeper keep the aggro decks in check pretty well.
Sorry but I’m going to have to completely disagree with you. Kazakus is an absolutely insane card because it fits right into an existing archetype of Reno. Of course you wouldn’t run it without Reno because Reno is a super strong card and makes no sense to exclude whatsoever. To your comment that he is too slow, he is such a flexible card and spells can be chosen to adjust to the current state on the board. 1 mama spells can be ridiculous in aggro matchups and 5 or 10 mana can be
game changing in midrange or control matchups. This is not even mentioning it’s unbelievable synergy with bean bronzebeard which giving 2 spells can sometimes just win the game on its own. Finally, Kazakus is different the Reno and their power levels are hard to compare as they do very different things. However, they combine to make one of the best if not best deck in the game so far in this meta.
I see Kazakus as more of a late game hard counter card against primarily Nzoth or other decks that might want to flood the board with big swing turns (like Jade Golem Druid). Turn all your enemy’s minions into sheep + something is very powerful, or even just “do six damage to all enemies” can almost clear a whole Nzoth board, depending on what class you’re against. It may not work the best in every situation but Reno decks are generally designed to handle a variety of scenarios (thus the mind control tech, occasional BGH, etc) and I think that Kazakus has his place when viewed in that regard.
Like you said, he’s not the driving force behind the deck (like Reno himself or Raza is) but if you’re running a Reno style anyway I think you totally have room for him.
This is my opnion on kazakus please someone say your thoughts:
After seeing the this much of the expansion I have to say that Kazakus is not that good, in fact I think he is really weak and slow, because the effect that he does isnt good enough to justify putting him on a deck without reno, and thats really sad, I was so excited for this card but he is not as “good” as reno, and by good I mean reno is turn 6 full heal your caracter and kazakus is turn 4 make a spell, pass the next turn if you used the coin or use the one mana spell; and deal some damage on the board on the next turn maybe killing some minions. In conclusion I am relly sad that kazakus dont pay itself like reno I can only rope that next expansion we get a new “reno effect ” to keep kazakus alive. 🙁
All the people who have made Rank 1 legend with Kazakus in their Reno decks would beg to differ.
Thing is with Kazakus, he’s versatile. Any card that can do more than one thing depending on the match-up is worth a deck slot.
Against Aggro, you can play him turn 4 and guarantee quite a powerful turn 5 play (if you’re desperate) as something like “+7 armor and a 4 damage AoE” is amazing.
Against Control, you don’t want to play Kazakus on turn 4, you save him for Brann value (most Reno decks should run Brann). Craft 2 different 10 mana spells and you can out-value opponents massively.
I think he means that after reno and brann cycle out
