Wew. “my life for aiur” referenced in flavor text. To those who don’t know, its what protoss warriors in Starcraft say.
I like this card alot. Very powerful, but in order to get the benefit you have to draw it, play it, and have it die without being silenced or transformed. Then you have to draw the card it shuffles in. Looks like fun
hello
i olike this card
Priest will kill for this card
*sorry.
would kill to have this card
*sorry.
would entomb to have this card
*sorry
Would pint-sized cabal for this card
*sorry
Would kill, Draconoid Operative, Discover, the final form of this card.
This is a big body finisher legend for shamans. They still haven’t one, is viable in controll shaman. Strong, but not op. In the actual meta it will not see play, let’s hope for a shift.
Why put overload in a 5 mana 10/10, right?
Because Overload has synergy with several other cards and you will not play this 5 mana 10/10 on turn 5 anyway. So having Overload would actually be a bonus in this case.
So OP that my phone broke.
Helle Print Size Potion …+ Let me Change your mind
Also Great Entomb Target
Finally the right direction for shaman: after the healing card, a control legendary that supports a N’zoth deck. Good job 😉 Makes Bgh and Black knight viable too, silences as well. Finally!
This one card won’t make bgh nor Black Knight viable.
Too slow for midrange shaman, you can’t play a 5/5 at turn 5. You would lose tempo, and a control deck can make a huge advantage out of it. And I don’t think control shaman is gonna be a thing…
In Wild play this with Reincarnate! And N’Zoth! WHAT?? Insane…Just Insane.
So you use 2 cards and 7 mana to get 5/5 taunt and shuffle 10/10 taunt into your deck. With that low tempo your gonna be at the receving end, also IF midrange shaman and other classes with hex style removal are popular nzoth shaman wont be good sadly 🙁 i did legend at wotog with nzoth ancestral spirit control, deck is a blast to play and this fits right in
WHYYYYYYYYYY? 5 cost 10/10 is absolutely broke on its own, AND it has taunt…… ….. ….. Op op
Pick the face deck player
They heard how much hearthstone players LOVE 4 mana 7/7s, so they made a 5 mana 10/10
Hex? Silance? Sheep? Entomb? SW Death? Sylvana? Assassinate? Fireball + trade? Trade? Etc., etc.
yes silence definitely makes 10/10 useless. oh wait it will still hit you in the face and you will lose.. Talking about other removals – well I will play 7/7 on turn 4, then 7/7 with coin on turn 5, then a couple of 5/5 taunts, then 10/10 taunt, then I got a couple of thunderbluffs too.. lets see how many sheeps you have in your deck and what you can trade with.. I got ragnaros too by the way.. and if this doesnt work – I will just spam the board with totems and kill you with bloodlust.
So only face deck will work… as usual
I think your dream curve is slightly flawed there bud.
I will be really disapointed if the storm guardian isnt a blue dragon , for the yu gi oh memes blizzard please
its not, reminds me of storm spirit from dota
but rly, can you play control without armor? you r dead to otk
u can
looks like Black Knight and silence will be staple in pretty much all decks
What are these cards?????
would be good if it werent a shaman card
This is a cool card but I think it might be overrated? It is not super good in meta cuz there Is many ways to steal and transform this minion… like shaman or priest will just beat it hard and I dont think midrange shaman Will play this. Also think N’zuth or controll shaman is better the Midrange! Its a Good card but not a 5/5! But yhe sad that they did not give this to rouge! Would be great for death rouge and rouge needs a buff!
Wow…. just wow… this seems a bit too much. Ofcourse there are multiple ways for each class to deal with this card, even without triggering it’s deathrattle, but still. The value is insane.
A 5 mana 5/5 with taunt is ok, but when it dies you get an extra card in your deck wich is a 5 mana 10/10, that is insane.
Running this card in a Shaman N’zoth deck could get crazy too.
Honestly, after Whispers of the Old Gods I agree with most people that Shaman was becoming OP. But since Shaman was in such a bad spot before it felt a bit like justice. Blizzard trying to make Shaman ok and decently playable again. But with the coming expansion, and the cards seen so far, it seems Shaman is improving more while other classes seem to not have this luck. I’m looking at Rogue fot example, not a class that I like to play with myself (never have) but nerfing blade flurry and barely give anything good in return lately, is just sad.
Ofcourse all cards are not revealed yet, so maybe Blizzard will prove me wrong.
But for now, to me, Shaman seems to become the top class, and for a lot of players it already was.
Shaman was already the top class before this expansion, undoubtedly. And without removing the other cards they already have, they will remain near the top. None of the new cards Shaman has gotten so far have have been game breaking, and none have focused towards aggressive strategies. White Eye is powerful, put he is more useful in a control style deck, which is less oppressive and is not Shaman’s strong suit. Priest and Warrior both have powerful control decks, Shaman would have to fight for top stop.
The only way the other classes are going to come up to par with Shaman is if they also get new and powerful cards. Although i agree that Rogue hasn’t gotten very many more tools so far, many of the other classes have got extremely powerful cards. White Eyes is nothing in comparison to Raza or Kazakus, or Aya Blackpaw. He basically does the same effect as Don Han’Cho, except that the +5/+5 bonus goes somewhere in your deck instead of in your hand.
I’ve found a Dragon Reno Control Shaman deck to be pretty effective. Goes 50-50 with Midrange Shaman and wins against pretty much everything else at least as often as Midrange Shaman. The biggest flaw it has is that it’s a bit less reliable due to being a Reno deck. So this and other new cards will be quite nice for me!
But… next year, when several sets are booted out of standard, I’ll be losing a few of my favorites… Oh well. A few months of a huge meta will be fun!
Pity I didn’t join Hearthstone in its early days, would’ve loved to have Goblins and Gnomes cards to have a huge wild set… bah.
Even if you don’t get the deathrattle it’s still pretty good. Compared to a Lord of the Arena, slightly more valuable.
Daaaaaam
its deatratle so can be silenced wich is sad but value house is here
increase size of deck by one is not big bout 5 mana 10/10 is better than 4 mana 7/7 😛 and even without overload
Wow, nice buff for Control Shaman. I love Gadgetzan, it brings back Control to Hearthstone!
Amazing ?
Really annoyed by this card. It feels like Blizzard wants some classes to be really diverse and powerful while leading others to just one style. The fact that Warrior (and now Shaman) can play control, aggro, and midrange reasonably well is just sickening when compared to Priest.
What is “The Storm Guardian?” That decides its strength.
I added it above, but it’s a 5 Mana 10/10 with Taunt.
what’s a Strom gardian?
I just added it above, but it’s a 5 Mana 10/10 with Taunt.
