Mulligans
General Mulligans
This deck has very few early game cards, so a Doomsayer in the opening hand is huge. Keep board clears against matchups where they help, and be on the look out for those classic Handlock turn 4 plays.
This is yet another Renolock deck that I have been experimenting with (believe me I’ve tried them all). This version of the deck is built around the Leeroy combo. It also makes use of The Curator to draw through the deck much faster than normal, so that you have those key answers when you need them. Renounce serves two purposes in this deck. It allows you to replace useless cards in the matchup for random cards in the late game, and it also can replace the duplicate Power Overwhelmings with random cards to activate Reno if you are desperate. Be aware that Renounce can add duplicates into the deck, but this is very unlikely due to the low number of class cards and the fact that by the time you would be playing this you would have drawn through most of the deck. I love running Eater of Secrets in my decks because Secret Hunter and Freeze Mage are annoying, but this can easily be replaced with something else (Shadow Bolt, Defender of Argus, Sen’jin, BGH, etc…). One final thing to note, the Curator puts a dragon into your hand, which makes playing an active Chillmaw far more likely. Super fun deck to play and currently has an almost 75% winrate at rank 15, so it doesn’t fair too badly.
