The brewmasters are similar but not actually the same
Pretty sure this is a unique effect.
Does this mean no fatigue for mage ever? Just keep choosing copies of this once fatigue hits?

I love this card it might make Reno mage a good deck as you can get a second Reno or kazacus it also has a descent stat line so it’s not a terable tempo loss and it can also make your fatigue game better. I would have perfered it at 3/3 and netuaral but you can’t have everything
Imagine this miracle combo. Brann (3 mana) + Kazakus in mage (4 mana) you can craft 2 spells of your choice + Manic Soulcaster (3 mana) = 2 more kazakus in your deck with 2 custom spells in you hand and 3 minions on board. Yeah this combo wont happen often but when it does :P. Since its the only mage card revealed so far, this is a really good card.
Alexxtrasa gets Reno’d? Don’t worry, you have a second one. And possibly a third. Reno doubles your effective health? Why not triple or quadruple? Trying out the OTK infinite fireball Mage? Give yourself another Sorcerer’s Apprentice or Antonidas. So many possibilities, and the list goes on with the new “Summon from deck” cards and future cards in the expansion :3
I’d say this is a good card; Mage already has a good amount of ways to draw into those copied cards with Loot Hoarder, Acolyte + Ping, and Arcane Intellect, and it gives you a second chance if you get countered 😀
agree its good card its tempo statline is great and with realy strong late game effeckt and it can me used to slow down fatigue in realy late gam nice one and very flexible
this is a very bad card in freeze mage. first you have to substitute a card from an already very defined deck but then if you ever do get this card to go off the only good card it would be is on alexstraza or maybe thalnos. both these options are bad as if you have alextraza on board you have likely already won the game. with thalnos you are putting another card into your deck reducing the chance that you draw into alextraza, therefore reducing the chance of winning the game. overall i see a card with lots of potential, it fits no meta decks and is just bad.

freeze mage is not the only meta deck and we are not sure about new mage cards that need to be revealed.
renomages are going to love this card and maybe other archetypes.
