Mulligans

General Mulligans

Only keep Grievous Bite vs Rogue and DH, because those will most likely be Pirate Aggro.
Maxima is a risky keep, but will be devastating if you can manage to make it to turn 6. (or 5 with the coin)

First of all, the original version of this deck is lost. It was built before the last expansion released, so it was a different meta. I’ve replaced some cards since. With a few small changes or a lot of patience I think you can still make Legend with this deck. But it’s one of those decks, which you have to learn to play first to see success.

The Strategy behind this deck is to flood the board early with cheap spells and later on play Maxima Blastenheimer for the unexpected 7-21 extra damage. (random)
The dream is for her to pull out a Thunderbringer, which then will pull a Charged Devilsaur without triggering its battlecry and either a Humongous Owl or a Toyrannosaurus, which then can be triggered with Play Dead.
To increase the odds of this happening, the deck only has 7 Minions besides her. The worst case is for her to pull Devilsaur from our deck. To decrease the odds of the Devilsaur, I included the Owl, but this also decreases the odds for Thunderbringer. I’ve tried both variants, I tried one Owl, but 2 Owls seems like the more consistent deck to me. If you draw Thunderbringer late, it will still either pull an Owl or a Toyrannosaurus.

It’s crucial that you use the Dredge and Tracking to prevent drawing the Minions,
which seems counter-intuitive, since Harpoon Gun
offers a 2 mana discount. In case of emergency it can be good to have a
Toyrannosaurus on turn 5. But usually you want your
minions to stay in your deck for Maxima, Thunderbringer or Faithful Companions.

I only include one Birdwatching for a 60% chance to discover Maxima. Discovering a minion draws the original from your deck, and I dont want to draw any minions. Arcane Quiver is only in the deck to discover Birdwatching, so to improve this deck, I should remove a few spells like Sneaky Snakes, R.C. Rampage or Faithful Companions. A good case could be made for 2 Birdwatching and 0 Sneaky Snakes.

Death Roll Seems like a really good card, which I haven’t gotten yet unfortunately, else I would have tried replacing R.C. Rampage.

Good luck messing around with this deck, let me know which cards you would replace or add.
