Mulligans
General Mulligans
- Keep any 1 cost spell (except naturalize!) and horseshoe slinger vs Rogue or DH.
- Ramp is good but I wouldn't keep overgrowth or nourish.
I just built this deck in a few minutes, because I needed to play marin’s treasures for the event. Turns out it’s a surprisingly good deck with a few changes I made after the first game, and I was able to get into legend rather quickly. Basically the deck can be adjusted to replace cards you don’t own with good cards you own and I don’t. The new Aviana is a key card though. Random legendaries for 1 mana is pretty good.
– I don’t own some of the better druid cards and I dislike titans cause
they’re beta males. You can improve the deck by including random titan
cards.
– Some of the cards seem really random and I only included
them, because I have them. Cruise Captain Lora is not a good card,
sometimes you get good value out of her, but often it just takes away
two of your board spaces for 6 or even 8 rounds. Please don’t craft her. If I had to replace any card in the deck, it would be Lora.
– If you don’t own Ignis, the Eternal Flame, you can remove some of the forge cards, but I would keep the taunt.
– Greybough is not great in this deck either, but I wanted some taunts.
If have not included those, but they might be good options:
– Topior the Shrubbagazzor because I only have 8 nature spells and it’s barely worth playing.
If you run 10-12 nature spells it could be a good include.
– Swipe Why? I feel like it would be super random to draw it or not in a 40 card highlander deck. I always draw it when I don’t need it and vice versa. Board is better.
– Malfurion's Gift Second swipe for 4.
– E.T.C. Band Manager Most of my decks have a band manager with a Steamcleaner , Eater of Secrets and Kobold Stickyfinger
Cards I would include if I had them:
– Hedra the Heretic seems like a fun card, but I don’t own it so idk how good it is really.
– Loatheb can delay your death by one turn against some combo decks, but most decks can play around him by simply playing minions for that turn. Still not a bad card.
Great budget cards (don’t remove):
– Raid Negotiator has the potential for insane value, if you can discover Rhythm and Roots or Drum Circle
– Attorney-at-Maw is a 2 mana silence with decent body
– Card Grader
– Gold Panner
– Also keep the 1 cost spells. They remove the new annoying pirate on turn 1 or 2, not a guaranteed win, but without the small damage spells you have no chance.
