Blizzard just posted what appears to be the next expansion teaser. In the image, we see can see a passport and a plane ticket with a seat number “30.0”. That’s the number of the next expansion patch, which means that it’s almost surely the expansion teaser.
If we combine that with the Year of the Pegasus teaser image showing a sandy beach with a treasure map, it’s safe to assume that the expansion is travel, exploration, or vacation-themed. Perhaps even a combination of all of those.
Most players have expected an announcement next week, but Monday is earlier than some (including me) have anticipated. Either way, I’m happy we won’t have to wait long to see the next set! We even have a specific reveal hour, so we don’t have to guess (although all of the expansion reveals happen at 10 AM PT / 19:00 CET so it wouldn’t be a difficult guess anyway). We’ll be posting the patch notes and new cards as soon as they go live.
